Is there a way to install windows 10 on my hardrive in MBR mode?

I tried converting it to mbr in the command prompt before I installed windows. It said it was converted, but after installation, I checked, and no dice. It was GPT.

Can anyone help me out?

That would be really odd, haven't come across one that was UEFI only.
What motherboard is this?

Neither have I. Even (I think) every laptop board I've seen has the option. Perhaps a really early BIOS version?

Forgive me, I'm still a sapling. It just struck me, though - Legacy mode is same as IDE mode? I should be able to format in MBR mode if I switch to IDE instead of AHCI in bios? :p
