Did you not read the Terms of Service. It's clearly listed that you may not love/lick Microsoft or any of their products. Therefore, no referring a Microsoft Product to "rules." :)

Yes, it sure is a excellent OS. I'm running the original Beta 2. I have 2505 RC1 downloaded but I don't have a burner to burn it with so I'm still using this. I'm waiting for my WPP CD to arrive in the mail soon. Hopefully sometime next week. If not I was gonna go borrow a friends burner.

I've tested Q3A and it worked fine with my Voodoo 3 3K. I'm pretty sure it works fine. Haven't gotten to test anything else yet.

Oh my goodness! does that really work with the microsoft bug thing?
I wonder how microsoft is monitoring this?

I have already signed up for the preview program, just waiting for my email.

Yea. All I get is a page that says "Sorry there was an error trying to download Microsoft Windows XP"

Me neither. Going to bed. If someone DOES get it and mirrors it, PM me. Thanks.

<< Then I would say that you're not doing it right. :) >>

I'm following the exact steps outlined above. No go.

Then something may not be going right for you. Not that something IS going right for me. ;);)

If you try the program approach, it sure works. I was getting 120 MB/s for a moment, then it smarted up and went down to 55 KB/s. (i'm only on 640kbps dsl here ;))

btw, 489 MB. Not for the dialup user.
btw2, I just realized the partition I'm d/l'ing to only has 300 MB of free space. Ack!

Ok, then what download manager will allow you to change the header? I usually don't use one

I mean the downloadable proxy thing that was in his post. it takes about 1 minute of work, but it gets the job done.

btw, to surf normally again, after you start the dl, you can change your IE settings back so that your cookies and stuff work again. Just leave the proxy executable running during the DL and everything is cool.
