I have Dell 1525 with T5500 chipset, 4 GB RAM, SSD, and Wireless card AGN so it can connect to 6Giga WIFI..

I also have HP A6 (AMD chipset three years old)/

I have fast Desktops for heavy gaming and graphic editing

The laptops are use for casual surfing and streaming.

Both laptops run Win 10 Pro 1909.

There is no much difference between the two laptops for casual use (the HP has slightly higher screen resolution).

One important stop in such laptops is to use cCleanner Tools StartUp and disable all Junk/SemiJunk, and unimportant Apps from StartingUp in Win10.

P.S. cCleanner let Enable/Disable these entries and thus does no inflict any harm in doing so. One can change back and forth in few seconds and a Boot.

My laptop's CPU is Legacy Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4400
however, at Intel's site the table shows that this series of processors does not support Windows 10
now may I know what's the cause that I processor won't support windows 10??
I've read many other sites claiming its completely normal to run windows 10 on any dual core processor that has 2.0+ GHz clock and decent amount of RAM (>3GB)

lastly, if I install windows 10, will it work?
CPU T4400
integrated graphics
4GB ram ddr2

My wife has a Toshiba L550 Laptop from 2010 that uses a T4400. It's been running Windows 10 since it was released, no problems. In fact, it's faster than it was with Win 7. Currently on version 1909.

It has a 128GB Samsung 830 SSD. It's faster than new laptops I've used with spinners.

I got W10 on a i3 2100 and it runs fairly ok. Thing is in serious need of a ssd cause its 2009 based WD Blue is dreadful for a boot up drive in 2020. Will go ssd when that gets donated and gets replaced with a i5 2500k. When i do upgrades everyone gets one yeah so i3 2100 will be retired or put into a xp retro gaming rig with a gtx285 i got maybe. I even got the Antec 900 case i could put the stuff into when i upgrade to a NX800 or CM 500P Mesh . :)

Copy cat. That's exactly the upgrade I'm doing with my HTPC... i3 2100 to my old desktop's 2500K. I don't think the 2100 is a very strong chip, I probably wouldn't try W10 on it, but it seems to work well enough on the 2500K (...and iGPU, at the moment.)

Yeah friend swears she doesn't need a upgrade from her 2500k, she may wanna think about taking this 7700k when i upgrade it. Only been 8 years, she is long overdue for one. The 2500k sure is fast for basic usage. Its quite impressive for something i bought in 2011 and is still in service with its original ram and mobo. Sadly her 1050 ti gonna be the bottleneck even with that 2500k.
