Will we ever see another band as great as The Beatles?

The band has 27 #1 hits and millions of screaming fans around the world, even though they haven't been a band for nearly a generation.

Will we ever see another band as prolific and popular as The Beatles? They appealed to nearly everyone: young, old, male, female.

Apparently Franz Ferdidand is becoming like the Beatles. I don't believe it. I read that somewhere... maybe it was Guitar World or something. I can't see another band becoming like them.

I think with today's music.. the one with the closest shot... I can't honestly think of one

BTW, I don't think the Beatles were really that good. It was just the drugged out mindset of the times, that pushed their popularity up.

Ok, gotta admit, I liked some of their music.

The Beatles are over rated. Most of their songs come off as silly nursey rymes. I still like Abbey Road though.

Thats my point, hardly anyone has because they sucked live. They were a studio band.
