Will RAM ever replace the hard drive?

surely there will be a move from the hard drive to solid state, as although (having read above) there are error in the ram, the harddrive has working parts, and yes they are very reliable ( most: deskstar) the working parts will still have a chance of failing.
 
heheh These guys already sell desktop and laptop pc's with built in ram drives for the os, around 10gb I think for $2500(just for the drive) but it is fast...very fast, a couple of seconds to boot xp... and the page file resides there as well you have a blazing system, *wipes drool from mouth...
