I sent my MB in for repairs, as its only 6 months old. I was surprised to find they try and 'fix' MBs, rather than just send you a new one, as OCZ did with my PSU.
What percent of boards actualy get fixed? I read some posts on here of how they took weeks, only to find they had changed the BIOS or some foolishness.
I don't mind buying a new board, as my time is more valuable than that. I just didn't want to have to wipe and reinstall everything, which I will have to do with a new MB (my model isn't sold here anymore).
I would much prefer it if they said that they don't really care about repairs, then I would know to just go ahead and buy a new MB.
Any ideas?
