`I have noted among the beings that that have arisen within the confines of the ordinary the mentation that passes for intelligent thought here on your planet, that there is a tendency when facing any new stimulus that presents itself, to respond, not by means of a critical analysis, the capacity for which should acrew to them in the course of their daily lives based on an accumulation of reflective wisdom crystallized as being knowledge within them, there is instead, a long habituated tendency not to rely on such wisdom and which, furthermore, is most likely absent for reasons I won't go into here, but to associate anything new or to be considered by them with open mindedness, again, not with regard to such wisdom, but only by the process of this pernicious autonomic process of mentation by association absent, of course, any conscious effort to combat this tendency.
Had Grandma pulled your ear for publically remarking on some family matter in public, for ecample, forever thereafter a triggered sense of unease, an impending sense of disaster will transpire like a clock striking noon within the fear centers of the mammalian brain and in such a way that if any such incident arises of similarly associatively manner thereafter,such unease will be autonomically triggered for the rest on your life.
You, pcgeek11, have most likely been guilty of something or other in this person's past that simply triggers such a reaction. My guess is that for 'reasons' as above I won't go into here, my guess is that you have shown some tendency to think in a conservative manner. Be very careful someone does not pull your ear.
