Everything "liberals" do, they try to copy it. You can see it in Oral Roberts University (Go Orals!!!), Liberty University (Go Flames!!!), Qubetv.tv, and garbage newspapers such as the Washington Times (started by a cult leader). Now that Gore has won the Nobel Peace Prize, I wonder how conservatives in this country will respond. Maybe they'll call it the Oral Prize.

Being a reactionary is never good. Conservatives have done a good job in American politics over the past 30 years but them trying to export those beliefs to the wider world has been a dismal failure.

No need. Fortunately not everyone is a partisan tool like you and realizes that achievements in the scientific field rise above whether that person votes R or D.

Conservatives have doon a good job over the past 30 years?

Done a good job at what, training the average American to hate? They've done a good job of destroying the forces in America that have traditionally made it great. The conservatives have done a great job of putting us on the road to hell. Conservative should have been preserving what is good instead of blocking everything that would have been better. They are the troglodytes of human evolution, the self hating folk who fear change is always for the worse.

This is a naive statement.

Anyway, I can see a conservative group doing something like this.. hopefully not. I didn't realize that Noble Prizes were a liberal thing? Maybe i am the one being naive now as most things seem to be tainted by politics and ulterior motives nowadays.

Eh, it will just be laughable at best, just like every other regurgitated piece of crap they spew. Just look at the "Half-hour news hour".

It's not, but apparently it is unacceptable to be anything but uncreative and narrow minded. Apparently hard-liner conservatives are convinced that creativity and intelligence is a liberal only trait, they're only hurting themselves.

QFTx2

What does being conservative have to do with voting R or D?

They can borrow trophies from their kids and give them to the wealthy... :D
You, know, the way they run the economy. ;)

I didn't realize the Nobel Peace Prize has a liberal bias.

Also, you don't seem to have a grasp on what defines a true conservative...the Republican Party of the Bush Administration is hardly conservative.

Conservatives may typically vote for Republicans, because they are the lesser of two evils for our ideology...but don't make the mistake of assuming that true conservatives are happy that the Republican Party was hijacked by the far right and the religious right.

True conservatives oppose big government spending, and can actually assume a more liberal stance on social issues...true conservatives do not revert to the Bible or the church for where they stand on social issues.

The OP seems to imply otherwise. For what that's worth...

I don't care about any liberal or conservative aspect of the Nobel prize awards. The only thing that bothers me is that Gore was awarded the prize for peace. What the heck does global warming awareness have to do with peace? Science I could understand. But peace? WTF?

Nah, I love you. I was just telling you what is. It's descriptive but any hatefulness would be in how you feel, not in the facts themselves, no?

WTF? What a piece of trolling.

I mean seriously WTF do two private universities, both of which have been around for 35+ years, have to do with the price of tea in China or Al Gore sharing the Nobel Peace Prize?

You need help man.

This thread needs to be locked...it is nothing more than a POS troll post.

Those that you refer to as Conservatives are not Conservatives.
