Anyone tried this? I mean what is the difference in PCI and PCI express? I read today that it is better than AGP in the guide on this board. It just didnt say how.

PCI-E is not better or faster than AGP. The only exception to that is if you get an SLI board and use 2 PCI-E NV cards.
You can only use AGP or PCI cards in that 8300. It does not have any PCI-E slots.
The fastest cards out now are available in AGP. 6800GT and Ultra, X800pro and XT. XT PE too, I believe.
The newest X850 series in PCI-E is only marginally faster than an AGP X800XT.

what are you talking about; pcie is sOOOO much faster then AGP, and it provides more power. its just that no cards are fast enough to take advantage of the extra bandwidth that PCIe offers.
