He most likely will never change because money, greed, and selfishness has already poisoned his mind. However, when one speaks on the internet about certain issues there are often many people reading. If even a few people read what I and others have to say and that impacts them in what I consider a positive way either now or later in life when they are faced with similar temptations then it was worth it. Even if that doesn't happen, it is worth at least trying. Doing nothing will result in nothing.

...that plus I am at work and have nothing on my plate right now so it keeps me entertained. I enjoy a good debate.

If he didn't feel a little bit guilty for his moronic actions, he wouldn't be in here vehemently trying to defend himself, poorly, I might add. The best part is when he calls us jealous.

I do list them FOR ONE CENT! If people want to give me more, that's okay by me.

and yes, I have the perfect right to decide what people should or shouldn't have, just like Nintendo decides who they want to ship their products to first, the UK/Eur, then to the states.

For a lot of products I put high starting bids only i always list my items at a price that i want to get as the opening bid, which seems in line with the prices you seem to have a problem with. i could give a shit if they sell or not because i don't need the $$ and would be pissed if they went for anything less than the opening bid i decide on.

the way i see it, someone can pay me what the items are worth or fuck off. I HATE cheap fucks trying to score mega deals and i refuse to give them chances to win valuable items at a fraction of their worth. if someone wants it they will pay, if not then they can't have it. if something doesn't sell i will list it again.

on the clock and doing leisurely activities? Sounds pretty unethical to me. I'm sure you have something to do... push some papers around, clean the toilets. I'm sure your time could be spent more productively and I'm sure your boss would agree too. This goes for all of you posting on the forum during work hours. You are all just hypocrite charlatans.

that's because you are and it's eating you up inside. There isn't really a debate here, I buy shit, I sell shit and I make great money while all of you cry like little babies.

And I'm not couped up in some rinky dinky office doing some phony job but I'm free to do as I please and work on other projects.

Case in point. Like I said, I seriously doubt you would let a Wii Fit out the door for anything less than retail price, rather you would be inclined to lie and cheat your way out of the sale just to not lose the money.

It's a government job and that's how they work. Unlike commercial jobs, there is only so much work to do since our goal is not to make profit. As long as our work gets done efficiently and within the deadline then it's all gravy. Besides, my boss knows exactly what I do and does the same thing. Same with my boss's boss and so on. The only reason I have free time is because I have already worked hard to optimize the processes and procedures which are involved with my position. What I have done has saved both a lot of time and money and it is the gift that keeps on giving year after year. The purpose of my job is to help improve education in my county while your real job is probably to make some old guy rich. How ethical is your line of work?

Try again.

Just curious, for those who are vehemently opposed to resellers:

What are your thoughts on Toyota dealerships marking up the price of the Prius $3000 over MSRP?

Have you ever met a car dealer that isn't a scumbag?

Were you answering my question or just making a general statement about car dealers? I'm just interested in the former.

saulbadguy is as ignorant as they come, don't bother asking him what he thinks of any big business as he will just say they're all scumbags, secretly fantasizing that one day he too will get on the fast track to success.

well you sure do a great job. Our education is ranked 22nd in the world, just under belgium. Average IQs are brought up by the migrants.

your job is as useless as it gets, if you disappeared, nobody would notice. And you spend a good chunk of your day on AT using AT members tax dollars. Forums are for when you get home and your boss must be as corrupt as you are. What does he do, pick his nose all day, watch internet pornos, sends out some memos and makes $50/hr? A friend of mine works for the gov't and he can't use the computer for personal use, why should you?

Let the hypocrisies continue!

aren't you tired of spewing your self righteous bullshit yet?

You have absolutely no idea what I do other than it is a desk job that involves education yet you believe it is useless...

If I disappeared, more of your tax dollars would be wastefully spent on inefficient processes which are now automated and/or simplified because of me. My job is to make the processes in my department much more efficient which results in less people needing to be hired in order to get the job done right. In turn, my efforts trickle down to other departments and all schools because they rely on us so heavily. This is an ongoing process because our school system is always changing year after year. People complain all of the time on this forum about wasteful government spending and inefficiency. I am one of the few people in the government who can be thanked for trying to actually do a little something about that.

They could take my internet privileges for non-work related sites away from me, but the only difference that would make is that I would be sitting here bored during the days when there is less work to do. That's about it. It would improve nothing.

My thoughts? It would be ethically responsible for the automobile industry to provide a sticker price which is reasonable, instead of hoping to rip off 1 out of every 10 consume that will pay $3k over MSRP.

I didn't read everything, but I figure it's more of the same CasioTech is a bad guy because he's reselling products at higher costs. Give me a break. It's called capitalism. He's providing goods at prices people are willing to pay. No one is forcing these people to pay his price. Nothing he's selling are essential need items like food, gas, etc. He's selling want items and if he can make money doing it, more power to him.

Does the fact that they're still flying off the lots at MSRP plus $3000+ change your mind at all?

"Toyota said it had just a one-day supply of the Prius hybrid, which gets 46 miles per gallon, and a seven-day supply of the 32-mpg Yaris. A 60-day inventory is considered normal in the auto industry."

The reality of the situation is that it's the balance between supply and demand that dictates the market price of a commodity, whether it's oil, gold, Priuses, or Wiis. I think a lot of the people who are complaining are ignoring this, and feel like they're entitled to buy it at a certain price, which just isn't the case in a free market.

Nintendo just happened to set the MSRP of the Wiis and Wii Fits below the market value, and resellers take advantage of this by buying them up at the discounted price(MSRP).

No he's not. He's gouging prices. NINTENDO is providing product at prices people are willing to pay, he's just scalping off the top. HE is forcing those people to pay his prices because HE isn't allowing them to purchase those that he is acquiring at regular retail prices. Those items he is reselling could have just as easily been purchased at regular retail prices if he left them there.

Yes, it's called capitalism. If you note, scalping is illegal in many states. I'm not saying this is illegal, but it's essentially the same thing. He's denying capitalism in it's most essential form.

The fact that he's defending himself so vigorously and proud of himself about it is the part that's disgusting. All he's doing is profiteering. He's not providing any meaningful product or service to justify the additional costs. He's essentially no better than organized crime.

it's a fucking video game, it's not medicine or prescription drugs or clean water.

they can't afford it, then they'll play it in 6 months, or when nintendo decides to invest into their shitty little plant. I guess they don't have enough money yet.

I don't know how many pages it's going to take to prove what a great person I am for helping nintendo hype up their otherwise mediocre products to the point where they sell out like crazy. Who would want them if they were packed on the shelves? HMM? nobody. Seeing a nintendo product makes people commit impulse purchases which they later regret because they are afraid it will not be there if they sleep it over.

the walmart moms dont' want ssbb because 'it's just sitting there' whereas the wiikart 'is advertised in stock this week!!!' and yes, I have conducted an interview or two. I don't really need to do more because all walmart moms feel the same way about video games. SSBB is clearly a better game for 4 players and kids.

the problem with people is that they think that nintendos games are very popular because they can't find them when in fact, they only supply a fraction of what they should. That is the key difference.

oh yeah and that japanese guy who invented the wiifit sent me a plague and a key to the city.
