I pu ttogether a new system for her...Non-ocing ofcourse but the shuttle board I have does ave some overclocking options. Unfortunately not any voltage adjustments...
That aside...
1) The board has tons of options
2)The board undervolts slightly to 1.58v
3) using stock hsf\
4) 300 WATT POWER SUPPLY
I am running 2.0ghz right now 100% stable (prime95/3dmark tested)
CPU booted at 166fsb for 2.16ghz I believe. Wont pass prime and I get some errors. Likely needs some more power...300 watts rails are tight with little or no fluctuation under load. Temps at 2ghz hit 57c at load (after 1 hour of prime and 3dmark looped) and idle at 38c. Obviously a better hsf could do more.
I didn't read the numbers on the chip but I have the retail box...s there a number on there to look for???
I think since it booted into windows at less then default vcore at 166fsb and I have decent pc2700 ddr I think this chip could hit definitely 2.2-2.3ghz range. Pretty good for $61 dollar chip. Contemplating when I build my father in laws cpu I will get him a more oc friendly mobo (nforce2) like epox and see what this chip could do....
