Millions of law-abiding Americans own a gun or guns for decades without ever reaching for it in anger. I grew up with guns in my father's house, and I was raised with a healthy respect for the damage it can do. No one in my family ever threatened/committed a violet act towards any one.

Hey, here's a thought: why don't you tell us where you're from, and we Americans will tell you what kind of whacky stories we've heard about your country? I bet they'd be about as accurate.

Hey guys dont slam on me 😛.I was just wondering why you guys were so proud of carrying and owning guns.

You american have a different way to think than canadians here.( im not saying you guys are more stupid here. ).I was born and raise with the mentallity of not touching guns.Guns is forbidden.Only bikers and gang members get guns, and its very illegal to have one.

Do you guys consider guns as decorative as swords?( im a big sword fan here, iv got a huge bastard sword on my wall hehe )

The hell, I dont want you speaking for me as a Canadian. Im guessing you are either from Toronto, Vancouver or thereabouts. I was raised with rifles in my house and was taught to properly respect firearms. If one was raised with the freedom to buy and own guns, dont hold that against them. We get a spank on the wrist when caught with weed where in some places thats jailtime

Dont hate on something like the freedom to own fireams, hate on the illegal sales of guns and the use of guns in something other than target range, hunting or collecting.

Guns symbolize our freedom here in America. What was the first battle of the American Revolution over? The government trying to take our guns. Weapons in private hands were crucial to our liberation from oppression.

Well dude, you just made me learn something tonight.Id love to know tho if people who live in Quebec have the right to own guns( the registration is good for 6 provinces, excluding quebec.)All my life iv live and quebec and i never saw anyone owning a gun.

I am not a fan of guns, but I'm not going to worry about responsible people owning them and having them as a hobby. And if you're going to come into the open as Canadian, please use better grammar and spelling. 😛
 
Quebec eh? well I guess that sounds right, what doesnt sound right is one speaking for canadians, as in the last referendum, 49% of them wanted to not be canadian anymore.
meh, doesnt matter, his opinion only matters to him.
