I don't think he was lying, but I did think he caved, for whatever reason.

Remember the part about getting over yourself? Try Harder. Bernie has been a man of his word. You besmirch his integrity.

Yes, it's partly true as far as numbers go. I guess coming to terms with voting for Hillary is going to take me a lot longer than I thought. Overall, I think she's about as giant of a turd as Trump is. I just don't know if Trumps personality is legit, or if it's just all an act.

I guess at the end of the day at least I'd get 4 more years of Silly Billy and all his saxophone playing shenanigans.

You must have a poor sense of smell. Trump's whole life & persona reek of con artist funk. It oozes from every pore & orifice.

Well, if I remember correctly, he said he was "..going all the way to the Convention..." which I took as, he was not going to drop out before that point. That he was going to let the delegates decide on things. Clearly, his support of Clinton before this weeks DNC goes against that promise. I give him the benefit of the doubt though; Hillary probably had dirt on him, threatened him or something. A guy that was so anti establishment caving like that doesn't sit right.

Agree. So it boils down to voting for the wolf in sheep's clothing or the guy who hopes a foreign government has hacked a former US official's servers. The ol turd sammich vs. giant douche ballot, it seems. I'm sure you see the difficulty here.

MA, the state with the 2nd lowest gun death rate in the country.

How does MA rank in median family income?

Is MA going to spread the wealth? Help rebuild inner cities and bring jobs back to the USA?

The inner cities ridden with poverty is where most of the gun violence is at.

I see MA as a good example of if you fix the poverty problem the gun problem goes away.

Why? The woman has been in 112 different countries serving as a representative for our country while she was SoS. She's worked with half a dozen different Soviet leaders, middle east leaders, and African leaders. She prefers smart power over yelling, mocking and fist shaking. Trumps international decision making is deciding if he wants the lamb or chicken gyro at Halal Guy's across the street from his tower.

She is a good talker, and liar, I will give her that.

I'm voting for Hillary because Texashiker is in favor of Trump. Since Texashiker has been on the wrong side of 99% of things he's posted here, with zero further research, I'd say it's a pretty sure thing that voting for Hillary is a better choice.

Sure it is. Not that I'm voting for Hillary, but given that we know X or Y is going to president, it seems logical to me to vote in favor of which is the least bad.

It sucks, but it makes sense to me.

MA pays more Federal Taxes than it receives so we're giving back, like TX does. You could vote for the next candidate from MA also or sign up for Elizabeth Warrens email to get updates on who supports the MA vision.
BTW we still have some pretty shitty area's such as Brockton, Lowell, Lawrence, arguably Springfield, Worcester (the City part).

It's reasonable for the OP to request affirmative reasons to vote for Clinton since there's no shortage of negative reasons to not vote for her opponent. Adding one more negative reason to the existing mountain of them isn't helping anyone, even those who support Clinton. Again, the OP is about as softball a question as you can possibly get; if you can't even come up with positive reasons to vote for her maybe you should go back and examine your first principles.

And yet Texas voted for Ted Cruz in the primaries. Someone that is either subjectively or objectively worse than Donald Trump. Now Texas Republicans are forced to either vote for Trump on a straight Republican ticket, or just stay at home.

Can't say I feel bad for any of those voters. :sneaky:

Tried?

Bill Clinton WAS impeached. Even democrat representatives voted for his impeachment.

And republican senators voted not guilty.

I'm sure the above will blow your mind.
That is my point, GOP impeachment is meaningless.

Not trolling, I'm expressing how I feel about both of the sh!t candidates we have left to chose from.

You have to be an idiot to think Bernie really supports Hillary and her agenda. He's saving face and trying to do the right thing by supporting the candidate for the party he ran for. There's a reason he's staying an independent. You think he's going to go up on stage and tell people to not vote for her, and instead vote Republican (or not at all) ?

No, Sanders doesn't need to "save face." What he's trying to accomplish is to stop Donald Trump. He may not be 100% wild about Hilary Clinton, but to anyone whose beliefs align with Bernie Sanders, Clinton is a far better alternative. Sanders can see that because he isn't brain dead which unfortunately some of his supporters are.

The last sentence can be said about any candidates supporters. The average voter is of average IQ, so.. do the math.

But yes when it comes down to the fact Hillary or The Donald will be president, the lesser (barely) of the two evils is probably Hildawg, unless Trump is pulling the biggest troll of all time.

Gawd. Trump's whole life has been a series of con games. He made millions as he failed at selling Americans booze, gambling & steaks.

There's no reason to think he's had some sort of epiphany.

Idkkkkkk, head over to the other Trump thread about the Russia thing, and you'd think he was god's gift to investing and business. I mean, he did take a small loan of just $1,000,000 dollars and turn it into $200,000,000 did he not???? Amazing, folks. Incredible. I mean, he's the best when you think about it really.

Honest question, no trolling.

As a southern right wing, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-work for what you want republican I keep asking myself what has hillary done to deserve all the popularity?

She is better than trump is not an honest answer.

What legislation has hillary introduced that became law that has benefited everyday working people?

What exactly has she done?

I'm late to this thread, but seriously, why would someone who identifies as a "southern right wing, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-work for what you want republican" even ask this question? Of course you aren't going to vote for the democrat. Have you ever? It's like if I, as a progressive, would ask, why should I vote for Ted Cruz?

Notice I used Ted Cruz as an example rather than Donald Trump. That's because it's entirely unclear if Trump really is a conservative. So my answer to your question is this: there isn't any reason for you to vote for Clinton. However, you might want to seriously consider whether you want to vote for Trump either.

As Robert Reich pointed out, Trump perfected the art of bankruptcy. It's a variation on the old pump 'n dump.

Why would you vote for someone like Trump who says one thing and then does another like hire foreign workers to replace Americans in his hotels? Typical Republican "line my own pockets" approach and then condemn such a practice after he's already benefited from it.

My number one reason is the supreme court. I used to be a conservative, but they have quickly gone insane over the last 5 to 10 years. Xenophobia, homophobia, religious extremism, constantly fighting against womens rights, war on drugs, etc.... The last thing I want is the next 2 to 3 Supreme Court seats filled by a conservative President, that would set this country back decades.

They went nuts in 1994. They're just more desperate today. Trump is a symptom of that desperation.

Because obama said she was even more qualified than himself or bill to hold the office of president. obama never lies. That should be reason enough.

Only one problem with that goal. Donald Trump beat him to it.
