Actually that is the only reason I could vote for Trump. Hillary will nominate anti 2nd amendment justices. She will have one pick right off the bat. And likely 2-3 more by the time her 4 years is up as some are ready to retire. If she tries to spread this Massachusetts crap all over the country there will be problems.

MA, the state with the 2nd lowest gun death rate in the country.

How is she going to sign it into law if Senate hasn't approved it and she is against it?

Actually regarding the TPP.... it seems like Terry McAuliffe may have shit Clinton's bed...

http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/27/politics/hillary-clinton-trans-pacific-partnership-terry-mcauliffe/
McAuliffe: Clinton would flip-flop on TPP

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/terry-mcauliffe-hillary-clinton-tpp-trade-226253
Clinton friend McAuliffe says Clinton will flip on TPP, then walks it back

Of course it was walked back so I guess we'll just have to see.

Things that make you go hhmmmmm....

One could post the same question of Trump. I think Hillary is untrustworthy and a liar. She's proven this. I strongly don't agree with some things she has done, and wants to do in the future. Such as with guns.

On the other hand, I think Trump is basically a buffoon. He doesn't have the right temperament for President as he is now. He says many idiotic things. I also don't agree with he says or wants to do.

This is absolutely the worst candidates for president in my time. Don't know what I am going to do come vote time, but I will vote. Its our right to vote, and I think our duty. People that praise either one without faults are just ignorant to me, or stupid. There are many here on each side that will defend anything either one does, no matter how wrong.

I have to ask knee jerk Hillary haters out there, is this Hillary hate simply carry over hate because you witnessed a black man elected president and then re-elected president for the past eight years? Or... is this some brand new anti-woman hate?
Seriously, is this carry-over hate or some new hate for you diehard Donald Trump supporters?

Is the idea of having a woman president as repulsive for you as was the idea of having a black president?
Personally, I don't think this is necessarily all new hate, I think this is half carry over and half new.
You could not stand the idea of a black man serving in the Whitehouse, and now you just can not stand the thought of a woman serving in the Whitehouse.
For you, the concept of either hits as un-American.

And the #1 republican, the very top of the top that I point attention to for having admittedly held this same hate, is Donald Trump.
Yes, Donald Trump is by far the number one individual who is proven and self admitted to possessing both the old hate, and this new hate. Add in a dose of carry over hate.
That is Donald Trump's entire campaign.

Donald challenged the legitimacy of a black man holding the office of president, and now Donald Trump challenges the very idea of a woman doing the same.
Frankly, this attitude from Trump has nothing to do with Obama per se nor Hillary per se.
What pissed the hell out of Donald in the first instance was the color, and in this second instance, the gender.
Because we all know Donald has made it quite crystal clear, he loves blacks and women.
Just not as president.

During this entire election process, if Donald's obsession with blacks and women, or simply put obsession with minorities, is not the one most obvious take from Donald Trump, well... you haven't been paying attention.
Those that support Trump and most likely despise Obama, and now despise Hillary as well, makes it quite clear why your devoted dying support for Donald Trump.
And exposing that more than anything else is what this election is all about.

So take note Donald supporters, strong intelligent women are not going away, like it or not.
And strong intelligent people of minority race and class are not going away.
And I guess that really screws up your entire day, now doesn't it?
Both strong women and strong individuals of color are not only here to stay, but their visibility and influence will only grow and prosper.

So, for all you Trump supporters out there buying into Donald's message of hate, I guess strong women presidents and strong black presidents will become a real pain the ass for your little world, now won't it?

And FYI, if you believe for one minute that your love for guns and your clinging to your religion will ever change any of the above, sorry.
Nada going to ever happen.
No matter how many Donald Trump's come along to catch your eye and invade your heart.
For all the hate you engage in, all the guns you purchase, all the religion you twist into qualifying your hate, you are just wasting your time.

Why? Because she's the sane one with sane policies. The Republicans have nominated a rich nut job who has always created his own reality to live in, one they are now becoming a part of. The Republican convention was an endless parade of nuttiness, racism and grandiose, meaningless blather. If anyone was impressed by that shitshow then they'd be just as impressed with the odor and size of a fresh pile of St. Bernard shit.

At this point anyone who votes for Trump is a moron or a racist, more than likely both.

Why? The woman has been in 112 different countries serving as a representative for our country while she was SoS. She's worked with half a dozen different Soviet leaders, middle east leaders, and African leaders. She prefers smart power over yelling, mocking and fist shaking. Trumps international decision making is deciding if he wants the lamb or chicken gyro at Halal Guy's across the street from his tower.

Neither candidate is remotely perfect. But one has far more personality flaws that are unbecoming (if not outright dangerous) for one of, if not the most prestigious position in the world.

Which is another point I'd like to bring up. After 8 years this is what we have. Kind of pathetic isn't it? I'm interested in voting for a woman because it opens the door to the other 50% of the population. Maybe in another 4 or 8 years we'll open our eyes and see that there are women out there that are highly qualified candidates as well. It opens up the candidate pool even more and maybe we won't be in the situation we are in now. It used to be a position only available to old white guys. Obama broke that barrier. I hope Hillary can knock down another. When it comes to female presidential material you have Hillary on one side and Palin on the other. One is presidential material, the other should be MC'ing Duck Dynasty marathons on syndicate cable.

I watched Trumps speech last week and it was like a time warp back to 1950 something. Fear fear fear justice anger hate. That's not what I want in a leader. And that's not even going into his personal history, dubious business history and complete and total lack of any planning or "meat" to any of his proposals.

It's not that I necessarily am thrilled about Hillary, it's just that I find a lot less to worry about with her. And that's really what I want out of a candidate. I don't want to wake up each day wondering which new hell we'll be enduring after Trump goes on some raging rant about x y z minority, nationality or group.

Nah. I think many voting for Hillary are afraid of what Trump will do while in office. People voting Trump are both ignorant and afraid of about anything outside our borders.

My point I guess was most "willing" Hillary voters (ones who actually like her) are mostly ignorant to how much of a shit person she is in reality. Most Trump supporters like Trump because they've given in to the fears he's conjured up (ie, America is the most violent its ever been, etc) or given into their racist insecurities.

Most Bernie supporters I know (including myself) are either just not voting at all, or going to write him (or vote green) in anyway.

Maybe for others but I have a feeling come early November Hillary will look better to Bernie supporters in toss up states but I could be wrong.

Might depend on the email thing upcoming, but most of my FB friends who actively supported Bernie seem to have just given up. The discontent seems to be spread equally to Trump and Hillary.

If Trump really wants to take us to a "Americanism" type of society, I just don't see how he can make good on the trade deficit issues he's been talking about, being such a good business man and all. /sarcasm

Even though Hillary is probably even more of a war hawk than Trump could realistically ever be (despite what he wants Republican supporters to think), I really don't feel like he could successfully run a country politically and economically, especially if he actually implements policies that mimic his apparent personality. Do we want to trust a guy with a multi billion dollar budget whose gone bankrupt a number of times?

And that approach could end up putting Trump in office. Which is a legitimate fear. Voting for Hillary is more defensive in nature. Someone does not make a career in national level politics (or being a CEO of a large corporation) by being nice. It's just not how those positions operate. Hillary had been setting up the chess pieces for a presidential run for half a decade or more. Much longer than Bernie and the gears were already greased long before he tossed his hat in the mix. Move on and build on what happened the next cycle.

Between Trump, the Bernie momentum and leaked DNC communications I really do think things will be a bit different going forward. Both parties got rocked to their functional cores.

I guess my hesitation is I'm still not even sure Trump is "real". He's spent the better part of the last 10 years running reality TV shows and just overall being a troll of various types. He's been more liberal throughout his lifetime than his now current GOP affiliation, which makes me wonder if he will really carry through any of the crap he actually says, let alone get the funding from the government.

On the other hand, Hillary is probably going to make good on all her secret pacts/deal with corporate partners, and play politics like a pro, screwing over the general population as a whole.

What a troll.

Either you believe in what Bernie advocates or you don't. He advocates that the country elect Clinton over Trump & that his loyal followers assist in that.

He ran as a Democrat so as not to split the progressive vote & you advocate splitting the progressive vote. That's not progressive thinking. It's not thinking at all.

Not trolling, I'm expressing how I feel about both of the sh!t candidates we have left to chose from.

You have to be an idiot to think Bernie really supports Hillary and her agenda. He's saving face and trying to do the right thing by supporting the candidate for the party he ran for. There's a reason he's staying an independent. You think he's going to go up on stage and tell people to not vote for her, and instead vote Republican (or not at all) ?

So, when Bernie supports Hillary he's actually betraying his supporters, or what? It's what he promised to do from the very beginning.

Or is not voting supposed to be some sort of twisted support for him?

He supports her b/c it's political suicide for him not to. Media would tear him up completely, he'd be labeled a trader, trying to stir up the Democratic party, etc.

It's true that most, if not all Sanders supporters would label themselves Dems, but I know a fair share of people who are seriously second guessing Hillary. Maybe it's because they have half a brain and don't just follow the herd like many, and realize Hillary is a corporate shill, (think, "I'll fight for you on wall street!" meanwhile has taken millions from Goldmans and other Wall St. banks) and has serious judgement issues.

If Hillary gets elected, nothing gets done, because the Republicans are going to spend the entire 4 years of her presidency trying to impeach her. Her accomplishments are nothing but trouble, lie after lie, dead people all over the place and enrichment of the Clintons, due to her pay to play involvement with foreign governments while she was SOS. She signed off on things after Bill was given huge speaking fees.
You make a strong argument to vote for her right there.
I am voting Hillary because I want to be rich. I just bought 1000 shares of the Clinton Foundation. It was a goldmine when she was just secretary of state... the foundation was pulling in record revenue and barely had any expenses (fuck those Haitians anyway). When she is president I can see Bill getting $2+ million per speech. Gonna buy a new sailboat with my first dividend check.
How and where did you buy this 1,000 shares?

GOP tried to impeach Bill Clinton the whole time too, and the country did very well.
On the other hand electing Bush with a Republican Congress was a disaster. Only a moron would trust Trump with a rubberstamp Congress.

Tried?

Bill Clinton WAS impeached. Even democrat representatives voted for his impeachment.

And republican senators voted not guilty.

I'm sure the above will blow your mind.

So Bernie has been lying all along, or what?

I suggest that you get over yourself. Not voting for Hillary is half a vote for Trump. If he gets enough of those, he'll win. Is that really a better alternative?

I don't think he was lying, but I did think he caved, for whatever reason.

Yes, it's partly true as far as numbers go. I guess coming to terms with voting for Hillary is going to take me a lot longer than I thought. Overall, I think she's about as giant of a turd as Trump is. I just don't know if Trumps personality is legit, or if it's just all an act.

I guess at the end of the day at least I'd get 4 more years of Silly Billy and all his saxophone playing shenanigans.
