Now, in regards to the topic you chose to troll with. Do you have any data that shows what % of gun sales is fear driven, vs. non fear purchases? I think you are severely overestimating the effect of the supposed fear driven marketing.

I don't think many if any of the sport oriented gun owners bought any new guns either because of the NRA or Obama threats... They probably already have all they need.
The folks who feel they need an armory to thwart the potential of tyranny or confrontation by bad guys/girls and that they didn't have enough probably not only got more guns but ammo and big clips and what not... That consideration is fear of the tyranny or threat of another sort thingi. Rational or Irrational.... I guess that depends on the probability that the stimulus for the purchases could occur here or to them.

Actually, objectively, the is nothing even remotely similar. For example, his threads go on for pages and pages because folk can mount logical rebuttals to his stupidity, but in my threads there is always only personal attack because the brain defective have no answers to the truths I pose. All you see in my threads is somebody who can see you for what you are and you hate what he shows you.

You, for example, long for a forum without such partisan rancor without understanding that the conservative brain defect makes conservatives, generally speaking, incapable of it. In order to know ones motivation isn't easy because what motivates us is the need not to know we feel that we are the worst in the world. The need not to feel that is the most powerful motivation there is. What we feel is completely foreign to our ordinary awareness but we can guess at it. You can know what you feel, I think, you could maybe get a sense of what we have been through if you watched what happens to a child that gets lost. Children have no psychological defenses and feel everything to the full human potential. We have all felt pain to the absolute extent possible and we don't want to again.

I think it is important to look behind the pro anti gun positions so dominate in gun debate threads, where one side tries to prove this or that based on some study done by so and so or so and step back and ask ourselves what the gun psychosis is really all about. The answer, of course is money.

All the gun psychosis and all the reaction from fearful liberals stimulated by it is all there to milk the poor conservative brain defective out of their hard earned cash. Obama is the greatest gun salesman that ever lived. The more the gun industry can tweak and stimulate their psychotic fears of loss of gun ownership, the more these poor suckers will buy weapons to hoard away. I'll be honest, MB, I'm not sure I understand your point, so perhaps I'm off on a tangent. That said, I think the basic flaw in your premise is that it presumes gun supporters are all conservatives and gun opponents are all liberals. Yet we've seen in the many threads here that this gun support does not divide along such ideological lines. I'd also say while fear certainly drives many people in both camps, it is not the only factor, and I question whether it's even the primary driver.

For many gun rights supporters (myself included), the issues are the recognition that guns are a tool with many legitimate uses (both defensive and recreational), and that ownership is a right enshrined in our Constitution. We also recognize that the most visible anti-gun advocacy is empty theater. For example, fixating on cosmetic features (e.g., "assault" weapons) is pandering to ignorance, especially given that such weapons represent a miniscule fraction of all gun violence. Pragmatically, we also recognize that the genie is out of the bottle. It may well be America would be a better place if we had no guns ... but it would also be swell if we could all grow pots of gold in our unicorn gardens. It just isn't going to happen. Ever.

Conversely, gun opponents aren't necessarily fearful of guns. Instead, they objectively recognize that guns are the most efficient way of killing people, and they are used to kill thousands of Americans each year. It makes sense for anyone who values human life to want to eliminate a major factor in deaths. That's logic, not fear. Though I don't think their methods are effective, I do understand the concern and the feeling that doing something, even if it only saves a handful of lives, is better than doing nothing at all.

I tried some banana split pudding the other day for the first time. I seen it in the store and I'm like "That sounds good." But it was actually rather disgusting. However. The Hot Chocolate pudding I had around Christmas time was pretty good. Overall I'd say the Jell-O brand of pudding is the best prepackaged pudding, and you have to refrigerate it. I recently had home made Tapioca pudding, and it was pretty good, but it was not quite sweet enough compared to the prepackaged tapioca, and I thought I might have been living in 1850's where everything wasn't so high in sugar content, and I thought to myself: "Man, these old folks musta really understood how to make food taste good and not overload it with sugar."
