Biden’s team is going to need to control a pandemic that’s currently killing more than 1,000 people a day and presumably it would be helpful for them to know what’s going on in the agencies responsible for fighting the disease?

In addition, the poor transition from Clinton to Bush in 2000 was cited by the 9/11 commission as something that enabled the attacks to be successful.

I was responding to Jhhnn's post below. Trump is throwing as much chaos and division in the transition process as he possibly can. If he is successful bringing the election to SCOTUS then could very well have Barrett on his side.

Trumps intransigence is stopping the incoming Biden administration from engaging with any current government employees - department of homeland security, national institute of health, CDC, national security briefings, state department diplomats, access to secure communications plus completely blocks starting transition handovers for the management of approximately 2 million federal employees.

Every day of Trump's delay puts US lives and national security at risk, not that he's demonstrated any interest in either during his administration. Biden's short-term workarounds, bringing in former federal govt. employees, is helping to slightly mitigate but does not eliminate the active and intentional damage to the country being caused by Trump in blocking any transition.

This is such a gooft mentality. I heard liberal newshost and others dragged out this faux sympathy when Trump got Covid. People who have spent 4+ years claiming trump is literally hitler.. "we hope he recovers blahblah". Why? He's a POS, he's hurt a lot of people (if indirectly). hoping that he dies doesn't do anything, hope has no power. No matter how much pain I hope on him that won't cause any. Unless we;'re idiots and think Voodoo is real, what's the big deal? Yes I hope he dies (painfully), and his adult children too. fuck him.

If it were a month from now, Id say yes. But we arent even done certifying the win (which is inevitable, but still). A little early to say its dangerous.

Trump is withholding the information out of spite not because election is still being certified. National security experts have said it is dangerous to withhold now. What makes them wrong and you right?

I watched some of that Washington DC Trump March/rally/embarrassment and one thing was clear, those people are a bunch of losers and can only do and believe what they are told to. I could see a major problem in those people. If they have no one to follow, to guide them around by the nose, then they are lost souls. The kind of losers that before Trump would hide in mother’s basement afraid of their own shadow. So what happen is those radical groups, anti-government groups with an anti-government agenda will pray on those Trump people. Pray on those lost losers known as the Donald Trump base. Those radicals leave their social media basements and pretend to be as a Trumpie, pretending to support what Trump supports, and they mingle amongst those Trumpies. Yet, all they really want is to go after those Trump zombies. To eat their brains before they eat theirs. I watched this one guy, an idiot with a bullhorn, leading the crowd around by the nose. Everything he chanted, they chanted. This big mouth blow hard with a bullhorn told the crowd what to chant and where to match. Fox News reports that the pro Biden group attacked the pro Trump group. SURE THEY DID, those Trumpies were a bunch of pussies being lead around by the nose from people that had nothing to do with Donald Trump. They are anti-government anti-establishment radicals who need membership, and a Trumpie is the perfect target. Weak, clueless, and losers that can’t tell the difference between up and down unless someone like a Donald Trump guides them. It’s really sad that America has some 73 million of these lost souls, and I gather the problem is a lack of an education. I hope that Joe Biden can turn this around by improvement of our educational system and access to a college education. Educate those people into believing in reality and not in conspiracy theories and people like Donald Trump who only knows conspiracy theories.
 
Ps. Seriously, I don’t know why Joe Biden doesn’t just simply contact the people that Joe needs to contact to start the transition? I hear, OH, JOE ISN'T ALLOWED TO CONTACT THIS PERSON OR THAT GOVERNMENT AGENCY UNTIL THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION GRANTS PERMISSION. WTF ??? Would Donald Trump not contact whom ever and whatever he wanted if the tables were turned? If president elect Joe Biden needs to talk to Dr Fauci, or some national security agency, FUCK TRUMP. Joe, dispense with the fucking political correctness and contact whom ever and whatever you need to contact. Just give them a call and request to meet. I’m sure that anyone you need to talk to would be more than willing to talk and meet. And should Donald Trump get in the way of that meeting happening, fuck him. Meet anyway, anywhere, anytime. Hell... even a Denny’s restaurant has sections set aside for private gatherings. And their vegetable soup is great.
