Also, on some Behind the Music or MTV show or something, they said Nsync/Backstreet Boys lipsync at all their concerts. Think abou it: Was the music different or changed at all? No. Exactly the same as the recording. Could you dance like that and not have your voice bounce? Nope. Trust me on this one. BTW, the only people I can think of who can sing and dance really well at the same time are those on Broadway, and they don't do the kinda jumping up and down stuff that boy bands do.

You obviously have not listening to their CD. Yes, it was different. They sounded totally different, too. Trust me, I have listened to the CD thousands of times, I know EXACTLY how it sounds. No, you can't dance like that and sing the way you do in the recording studio, that's why they didn't sound as good. Their voices weren't perfect, they sounded, well, LIVE If they were lipsyncing, they must be REALLY good, because when their voices wavered was EXACTLY when you would expect it to, and their mouths were moving PERFECTLY with the music. It sure seemed pretty live to me.

The music industry wants to give this unified image. Merging different genres of music is a way for them to make people think, &quot;hey i really like this band, so maybe this OTHER group/singer isn't so bad&quot;. Plus all the NFL cares about is numbers. And they know that their ratings can ONLY go up if they target the only viewers they can't appeal to with football/commercials. I'm personally sickened and have lost respect for Aerosmith, Mary J Blige, and Nelly..but i'm sure i'd do it too for the money they were offered. Oh well, gotta love commercialism

I thought they sounded really poor, obviously weren't lipsyncing. No harmony at all, didn't even sound nice. See what magic the studios can do huh? You know generally live concerts are better than CD imho (though it changes from group to group). How about we get five guys who can actually sing up there, oops they probably don't have the looks for it. It's all a packaged product, and the teenyboppers buy it for the image not the music.

i have nothing against N*Sync and Britney but it seems like that the Super Bowl Crowd is not exactly their audience. the only reason they are there is because they are big names. one could also argue that Nelly and Aerosmith aren't exactly right for the Super Bowl fans either but they seem to have a more fitting audience than just 12-17 girls.

This just never ends, I bet Deeko has achieved Golden member status solely on the merit of his efforts to repeal Boy Band Bashing. lol IMHO N'Sync sucks the sausage too, but thier performance was not quite as comical as seeing Britany try to rival Steven Tyler for Buttrock hair. That was priceless.... BTW, can anyone explain to me how Steve Tyler's daughter got to be so fine looking? Couldn't possible be related to the guy...

The truth is, no one sucks.
It's just that you don't like that kind of music.
A perfect example is the people in my school. There are maybe 3 people that like KISS in the entire school of 500.
The thing is, they don't like 70's, or 80's rock. All they like is the new stuff, and are too stubborn to listen to some real rock
They constantly say, &quot;KISS sucks&quot;, no, they don't suck, you couldn't sing like Paul Stanley, entertain like Gene Simmons, or whatever. Same goes with the boy bands. Liking boy bands is considered gay, I admit I hate that kind of music. But, these guys do not suck, they have worked hard, and will be a force for many years.
