Does deciding an election mean anything in this context? Right now swing states decide the election, but outside of election years, I've never heard of that resulting in those states receiving undue federal favor.

I'm not complaining about the rules and don't care very much that she lost btw.

You are ignorant of facts and statistics, your 'prediction' was based on no statistics and no model, it was based on your gut. Even then your prediction seems to be correct because he will win the electoral college while losing the popular vote, and don't try to tell me you were predicting based on that at all.

Uhmm, pre-Brexit polls showed approximately even chances of remain or leave winning. Primary polling models correctly predicted both winners. The main thing they seemed to get wrong was Pennsylvania. Looks like the polls did pretty well to me!

The final senate results were actually right in line with the final prediction, this was called well too. You absolutely can't look at the poll internals and know they are shit because you don't know enough to look at them. Can you show me what pro-trump poll I trashed? If I remember right I said that cherry picking polls was stupid, which it is, and mentioned that the LA times poll had a skewed sample, which it did.

I already said I lost, but if I had to make the same choice I would base my opinion in the same way again. I'll always choose empirical, fact based analysis over gut feelings.

Having mentioned those polls myself, I'll say this. I agreed with you on their bias.
After that original back and forth I watched them for trends, not results.

That was the right way to do it. In fact if you look at the final poll results and compare them to the outcome the LA times poll was among the least accurate, giving a result of Trump +3 when the actual outcome seems to be likely about Clinton +1 from what I've read. It was very useful for trend analysis, not useful for whatever number it gave.

I think he thinks that because he pays a small tax that he's somehow 'paid' for his own health care in that way.

Guess what TH, if you have to go to the emergency room for anything that's not some simple stitches your property tax won't come even remotely close to covering it. You're just taking.
