where I used to live in UK, hub cap theft was very common.

people used to use clear cable ties to fix the cap to the rims......not hard to cut off, but the thief needs to have a knife with him which he was not expecting to need.

The street light which I next to my house went out last week (Duke Power says, "we'll get right on it." yeah, right.) Two days later, I wake up to find that someone stole my DAN (Divers Alert Network) license plate off my car. Not only that but they took the whole damn frame! I now have two enlarged bracket mount holes where they must have pried the whole thing off. I guess I should be thankful that no one is interested in stealing my beat-up truck to which the plate was attached.

And the same thing for the little portable gas grill that was taken from my front porch this past winter.



Burns my biscuits and puts me in a foul mood the whole day.

Had some 16yr old kid try to steal my hubs off my chevy when I was 17, I caught him at it, he was totally clueless that I was coming up behind him. I gave him the beating of his life. I dont think he ever came back into my neigborhood. Ahhh still feels great when I think of it.
