Your alarm went off and you didn't check? You're one of those idiots that let their alarm just keep on going. I'm glad you got ripped off.

What are you talking about. I didn't know my alarm was going off. My roomy, with a totally different alarm sound was saying how it could be his, but he was too lazy to check it out. You think I would have just left it running if I knew it was mine? I would have been out there with my bat in seconds.

how do you know it didnt just fall off? and your alarm went off for a different reason

also if you have a car alarm, what good does it do you if you arent aware when it goes off, obviously nobody cared that it went off

Oh and find that butthole who stole your hubcap and give him what he deserves! A P-flow up the ass.

one fell off my car when I hit a pothole on the freeway. Dealer wants 40 dollars for the stupid part. I just went to target and bought a generic set of 4 for ten bucks.

Every time I see a car with the factory hubcaps like my old ones though, I get this itch. :Q

Things to do:
1) Make sure both wheels on the driver's side have hubcaps--that's the side YOU see :)
2) Remove the remaining hubcap on the passenger's side, until you
3) Go to the junk yard and buy your stolen hubcap back

I dunno about those cheapo hubcaps from Walmart--I used those once and they flew off when I was cruising down the interstate!

I don't feel like reading the entire thread (oddly long for such a simple topic) but suggest you go to a local hardware or car shop.. My dad picked up this hub-cab lock that's basically just a specialized lug nut.. A pack of four would work for your entire car (one per hub cap).. It's a lug nut that requires a one of a kind "key" to remove it..Cost him like $20-30..

Because it was also there when I got out of the car to go into the apartment. I know because I had to go to the passenger side to get a grocery bags.
The alarm works well, when I hear it. The apartment complex has great parking where you're usually within 20 feet of your door, its just this specific area with the ghetto families where they take up all the spots and there are like 5 "reserved spots."

Plus, I wouldn't be able to get into my car without my alarm because when my family just bought the car back in 93/94, some other ghetto fvck tried to steal it and jacked up the key holes on both the driver and passenger door.

yep. that's great. had that on my last car... only trouble was the guy I bought the car from didn't give me the f*cking key. first flat tire took my years to fix as I pried off the stupid hub cap. *grr*

Some people are pr!cks and have no problem stealing from others. You'd be surprised how many people you know are thieves.

That's all I was thinking the whole time I was reading this. Hub caps fall off all the time. And car alarms go off all the time, too, FAR more ofthen than not, for no good reason, just because someone drives by with a loud muffler, or slams a car door next to the car with the offending alarm.

Naa, it didn't fall off. I addressed this in an earlier post. When I came home, I went to the passenger side of the car to get some grocery bags out. They were still all there.

I come home, play some Dead or Alive 3 on my X-Box only to hear my roomy talking to us about how he hears an alarm and it sounds kinda like his. I prompty ignore and continue playing.

sell your alarm and buy another hubcap.

relax, it's one hubcap. What you can do though, leave the car as it is, go buy CCTV and then let them steal another hubcap. Then you can report their @ss to the cop with recording from CCTV!
