God damn. I come home from a hard days work at a lawyers office dealing with people who don't get that when they get into an auto accident without insurance, they're gonna have to pay for the damn damages and people who wanna sue everyone because they're too stupid to avoid a puddle of water and fall on their asses.

I come home, play some Dead or Alive 3 on my X-Box only to hear my roomy talking to us about how he hears an alarm and it sounds kinda like his. I prompty ignore and continue playing. Fast forward an hour and my girlfriend calls me up and wants to come over. I go out to my car and hit the alarm button. It beeps 4 times, meaning that it went off. So, I walk around the car inspecting for damages and notice that one of my wheels is completely black, because a hubcap is fvcking missing.

Fvck. Why would you steal a god damn hubcap? I mean jeez, I drive a 94 camry, its nothing special. God, now I'm all pissed off. I swear its those ghetto ass families that live in the row of apartments behind mine. They let their fvcken kids run around all day yelling and screaming while their friends show up and park in the middle of the row and honk their horns in the morning.

CLIFF NOTES: Lowlife steals hubcap off of college student's camry. Ghetto families now get backlash of anger in the form of police and tow trucks when they're parked illegaly.

One last FVCK. Now to go find prices on hubcaps and maybe rims. Can't even buy 1 because it being newer will look different. Gotta buy all 4.

Yea, it is pretty old, but before I got it, it was my mom's car and babied. It has pretty much no dents, just a few scratches, and the mechanic lived across the street. So the car is in damn good shape. Taking off the other three hubcaps makes it look a lot worse.

you can get decent looking sets of four at walmart for $15-$20. If you want OEM be prepared to pay $50+ new/each.

Go to the local junk yard and you can pick one up that should match perfectly with the other three.

The one I got from you matches the three I've got on my car. :p

Oh...sorry. Well, I guess you've gotta buy four new hubbies then. :)

I lived in your situation all my life...until about two weeks ago. I spent my nights staring out the window at my car/truck b/c I lived in a ghetto apartment in a ghetto 'hood.

You can't have anything nice in a hood like that. You'll have to scrimp and save your pennies and move out.

In about a year, I will have a house. With a garage. And an alarm on the house. And "POSTED, no trespassing!" signs all over the property boundries. The signs aid your defense in court when you blow the heads off some slimeballs that come prying open your window at night...all nice and legal to kill them.

Oh, BTW, next time you hear an alarm that sounds like yours...it prolly is. ;) Good luck.

Ahh yes. I'm moving out with the GF in September to a decent apartment complex. What sucks is 20-30 bucks for new hubcaps is ok, but now I'll be all paranoid and want to get real rims. That'll cost more money which should be going into my motorcycle fund.

If Martha Stewart has here, she would probably tell us that old hub caps can make great change holders or ash trays.

Of course, she's probably out on bail awaiting trial, so I'll have to say it for her :)

Whatever you do, don't leave one hubcap missing.. either take em all off our replace them all, or find an exact identical and put it on. Different style wheels on each one looks horrible.

Oh and find that butthole who stole your hubcap and give him what he deserves! A P-flow up the ass.

Don't get me started... I don't have hubcaps since I have alloy rims, but I had plain chrome valve stem caps that came with my tires.
Somebody stole all of them... heck, one of them was even mismatched with a cheesy metal-looking one that was extra because I lost one autocrossing. Can't afford the $3 to get it yourself??? Just the fact that I had to go to an autoparts store and pay 80 cents was kinda annoying.

Take the obvious solution. The decision you are destined to make. You must steal a hubcap from another 94 camry to replace your stolen one. It will balance out the universe, and pass the anger to where it should be . . .away from you.

Reason why I'll never drive a car with hubcaps... The dumbass has to steal the whole wheel if they really want it.

I'm probably goign to stop by PepBoys/Kragens/Napa auto parts tomorrow on the way to work. That, or I might end up getting new rims just so I don't have to deal with hubcaps anymore. I need price quotes on it to make the decision thoguh.

My friend actually did that once. Someone stole a hubcap from his 2001 Camry (when it was still pretty new) and the Toyota dealer quoted him...$90CDN FOR ONE HUBCAP! So he just took one of another 2001 Camry.

Also, another friend had his Toyota badge stolen from the grill of his Camry. He had morals so he bought one from the dealer (at an insane price). Come to think of it, I see a lot of newer Toyotas without the badge on the grill.

:) Thanks for the link, it gave me a smile. That probably won't work out though because it'll be in a different condition then the other 3. No matter how much I clean, the other 3 won't look like the brand new one, so it'll still look weird.

No problem....maybe you can pay the yard apes that probably stole it to throw rocks at the new one so it'll match your old ones? I'm just trying to help. :D
