What is the reason for a suicide bombing while elections are going on ?

Studies proves that the violence only strengthens the Right wing...those who would rather see NO palestinian state.

By calming down for the next couple of months, until elections (Jan 27th) the Left wing , particularly Meretz with Labor, is more likely to get elected in. This would be good for palestine !

Why bomb now ?? It must be that Hamas (the perpetrators of todays awful bombing in J'lem) do NOT want a state called Palestine.

They have NEVER wanted peace and a separate state beside Israel. Their sole, original and continued purpose has been to destroy Israel at all costs. Hell, if they wanted peace and coexistence, they could have had that from the beginning.

I'm not forgetting that, but this is now we are talking about not then, now there are thousands of extremists on both side who want to exterminate the other as well as there are thousands of peaceful people on both sides who want to live peacefully side by side. There are the extremists on both side that are doing the damage, there are the terrorist groups on the Palestinian side, there are the settlers on the other side. Both are supported indirectly or directly by the authorities. Both must end for peace to come, not just one.

That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard and I won't rest until I eradicate this usage from ATOT. Every bombing is intended to hurt someone or something else. There are plenty of non-suicide bombings that are still bombings and still homicides. These particular bombings in Israel are distinguished from normal bombings by the fact that the perpetrator also kills him/her-self in the process of killing others. Hence "suicide bombing". "Homicide bombing" is redundant, and in fact wrong in some of these cases where they don't end up killing anybody else due to their bomb going off unintentionally or whatever.

If you want to say "suicide homicide perpetrator" then that's fine with me. Or "suicide murderer". Whatever. But "homocide bomber" makes no sense.

Israel was created by population movement, for about 50 years previous to Israels creation there were heavy jewish relocations. There is no wonder why the Arabs got pissed, how would the US like it if China suddenly created a colony right in New York or some other major place in the US?

Have you been to California recently. There is a large migration of people from another nation there. I haven't heard of any large scale war or terrorism breaking out because of it. Americans can live with people from other nations. It seems that the Arabs did not even want to let the Jews legally buy land and move into the area.
