so something refreshing and new comes to you and you just write it off? you should be in trouble for posting this on the internet! isn't this kind of thing company disclosed?
No, that's not refreshing. She's applying to be an assistant to the PRESIDENT and CEO. These men need someone who can write well, who doesn't giggle all the time, and is much more savy than this young lady.
Also, no I'm not in trouble for it. Do you see her name anywhere????

My God, who did these people have as parents to become so thoroughly socially inept?

And another time I have to question how these people grew up so poorly adapted to communication with other human beings. I saw a guy in walmart--probably 22-who wouldn't shut up, while he checked us out. He mentioned his fiancee no less than three times. Looking at him, and taking note of what he said, I'd best a lot he's never even kissed a girl. My God, who did these people have as parents to become so thoroughly socially inept?

you should give her feedback on her letter
and yossarian: some people give their DOB, regardless of whether it was on the application or not. i don't think the company is discriminating against age here, though. the point is that she's 29 and completely lacking in communication skills.

why do you know her age? is it on the application? if so that can get your company in trouble for age discrimination.

huh? If they can show a legitimate reason why they decided not to hire her, then there is no age discrimination. She was merely pointing out the fact that the applicant is an adult, yet writes like a high schooler.
Oh, what I'd give to go 20 years in to the future to see how your kids turn out. 😉Originally posted by: Skoorb

That cover letter is way to long, way to rambling, and way to honest. Shouldn't it really just consist of a bunch of BS talking about how if you didn't know better, you'd say scientists genetically engineered your fetus in a lab so that you could grow up and fill this position.
