I honestly don't know that will he do it again. Propably if he feels he can get away with it. But my point was that the gassing of the Kurds-incidents doesn't really give the west any kind of moral-superiority in this matter. West knew what was going on, West did nothing. That makes us guilty as well.

There isn't any evidence of Iraq working with Al Qaida. And you can't go around punishing countries for what they MIGHT do. Hell, USA COULD sometime in the future cause the destruction of mankind, does that mean that we should remove USA from the face of the Earth? Nope.

Or George Bush Sr. couldn't handle what he himself started. He had the perfect time to get rid of Saddam. He failed. Miserably. No need to blame Clinton for things that Bush failed at. Bush screwed up in the Gulf and he then dropped the mess on Clintons lap (no pun intended).

I take it it's not possible for a member of the SC to abstain? If that's the case, they have to vote for or against. If they feel that a war isn't justified, you'd have them vote for one anyways out of a sense of obligation to the US?

I disagree. My opinions are mine, but my opinion is a voice from my country. Europe is quite fond of calling us ignorant americans, because they only remember the stupid ones.
