Per the 14th amendment we are subjects and it is becoming more and more clear every day. It is becoming more clear because non citizens are not subject to documentation, which means they arent subject to wage laws, and citizenship is granted by the state (it is a legal and therefore artificial concept and not necessarily a lawful one and due to that immigrants may be illegal, but they are not by any means breaking real law). Why shouldnt we welcome more illegal immigrants? Please don't tell me "they're breaking the law" and while I'll be one of the first to admit that I find many of them snobby, it isn't necessarily wrong for them to be so.
All of that said, I think we are looking at the wrong problem when we look toward expelling immigrants. I am fine with arizona's "ban" because it can't be enforced and because the articles of confederation would not have stopped arizona from asserting their sovereignty... and when I say"assert" rather than "flex" they could never be supreme over the people because there was no central govt to enforce the States against the individual. Even VA's sterilization laws were protected by the federal govt, which makes me ask... is the 14th amendment a net gain when you have absolutely brilliant activist judges like oliver wendell holmes? It was just meant to increase centralization of power for the benefit of the elite and big business by making us even more into subjects rather than Citizens which we never could be. That is, the Party of hamilton tricked people into believing that Citizenship was a good thing, the party of lincoln simply made it obvious when bitchcrafting the 14th amendment because they knew there was nothing the people could do once it was ratified. Why would the racist Republican party have granted all peoples birthright Citizenship when they were protectionist white nationalists and when they believed we were supposed to be the elite's subjects?
Citizenship is an illusion , so please try your hardest to withdraw from the system (not voting this election would be a good first start) and whatever you do, remember... Citizenship is a legal construct and not one based upon the rule of law, the latter of which govs must destroy by tricking the subjects into believing it is synonymous with the former.
