Why Lady Gaga is the next Madonna

I was in a store today and the gay owner kept playing Gaga tracks and singing along at the top of his lungs. All the gay guys I know worship her (not trying to stereotype -- it's true). It's the same exact thing as with Madonna in 90's.

Madonna's chief talent isn't singing or dancing or (lol) acting; her chief talent has been her ability to reinvent herself and keep herself semi-relevant for two and a half decades now and work her ass off in the behind the scenes music biz.

Not saying it's a direct factor of gays liking her, but when someone has cred with both the mainstream and the hard-to-please, jaded gay community -- that's a winning combo.

And don't mean to bucket all gays into this category -- I am talking about the ones I know mainly who are young, NYC people into clubs, etc.
