Totally! I mean, look how other races are getting more people promoted into management, on a percentage basis!

Percent of workers that are in management/executive management, by race:
- White: 13.4%
- Asian: 9.6%
- American Indian: 7.6%
- Mixed Race: 6.8%
- Hawaiian: 6.4%
- Black: 5.1%
- Hispanic: 5.1%

(Source of data: http://www1.eeoc.gov/eeoc/statistics/employment/jobpat-eeo1/2009/index.cfm#select_label - I did my own calculations. # of exec + # of mangers / total employment)

Clearly Asians are totally disadvantaged compared to other races when it comes to promotions! You should stop studying like "a Chinese" and start studying like "a Hispanic"!

Bamboo Ceiling – The exclusion of Asian-descendants from executive and managerial roles on the basis of subjective factors such as "lack of leadership potential" or "inferior communication ability" where the East Asian-descendants candidate has superior objective credentials such as education in high-prestige universities (in comparison to their white counterparts with only lower-prestige university credentials).[47] For example, research shows that there are a decent number of partners at leading prestigious law firms in the United States who did not attend top notch law schools. However, you will seldom find an East Asian American partner of a leading law firm who did not attend a "Top 16 Law School" (according to the US News ranking).

C$1700 and you're complaining? Alot of private schools run $35k+ for tuition. I'd say you are getting off pretty light.

Cry me a river. Same stats as before:

Asian men: 11.8%
White women: 10.0%

You have a better chance of making it into management/executive management than I do.

Of course, you are whining about jumping off bridges on Anandtech so maybe not.

Because you have suddenly failed in your job to be an interesting troll. Pick another topic to troll on our I'm done with this thread.
