Aimster - I think it is a common misperception to say "all" jews are well educated. There are plenty who live in poverty, but I agree there is great statistical evidence to show that, relative to our population we are over represented in universities (30% of university students in the US). Many Jews are also into big business, no argument.

ZOXXO - Yes, of the ~10 million people killed in the final solution the highest estimate puts Jews at about 1/2 the total (5 million). One of the biggest problems in counting the dead from the holocaust is that many who were executed were never processed... they arrived on trains and went straight to the gas chamber or were executed in mass graves without ever being shipped to an extermination center. According to Nazi records, Gypsies, Homosexuals, Communists, and other political undesirables along with a large portion of Slavs composed the rest of their casualties. All of them should be remembered, they were all victims of one of their worst autrocities in human history and they all lived out the same miserable existences under Nazi rule.

The term holocaust comes from the Greek: "holos" (completely) and "kaustos" (burned sacrificial offering)

Now, look at what is happening in North America. There is no Christmas anymore. It?s just holidays. What about Chanukah? It?s still there. The menorah is all nice and sparkly-like, but the Christmas three is denied its Christmassy spirit.

You tell me that it?s ok? Jews are controlling the world. Sure, it means that Jews are successful, but they?re getting away with stealing Christmas. They?re getting away with everything. Remember Passion of the Christ? I?m sure you don?t since you?re Jewish. But Mel ?The Aussie? Gibson couldn't release it. Why? Because Jews said no. And when he did finally released it. What happened? I?m sure you remember that now. A lot of Jews hated the movie. Hated the fact that it was indeed released.

He was a decent guy, but he was the type of person you could not make friends with, unless you yourself were jewish. I'm starting to beleive that religion may be the cause of most of the worlds problems. I mean, if there were no jews, christians, muslims, or hindu's and everybody just focused on making their lives better and the lives of those around them better most of the problems we've faced in the world would never have happened.

What you fail to understand is that Jews are PARTICULARLY sensitive because of history. Go ahead, read a few books about Jewish history. I'll give away the ending - they either get KILLED or driven out. They were brought into medieval cities to boost the economies (usually they had to pay extremely high taxes and tariffs to even enter the city)... once they established businesses they would be kicked out or taxed out. The story is pretty much the same everywhere.

Jews have been the subject of some of the worst treatement throughout history. Does that give us any special rights? no, of course not. But does that give a reason to get upset when people start making broad generalizations? Yes, yes it does.

I'm sorry, but Hitler also categorized Jews. It was "they." THEY were a filth, a menace, the reason the Germans lost world war i. So, sorry if I'm a little touchy, but I'll be damned if people are going to start saying demeaning things about my family, and other families that I know that lost their lives in the holocaust and damned if I'm going to let you sit there are and forget the suffering of my ancestors.... THERE IS A REASON JEWS ARE AFRAID - we've been persecuted our entire existence, without fail.

Jews have been the subject of some of the worst treatement throughout history. Does that give us any special rights? no, of course not. But does that give a reason to get upset when people start making broad generalizations? Yes, yes it does.

I'm sorry, but Hitler also categorized Jews. It was "they." THEY were a filth, a menace, the reason the Germans lost world war i. So, sorry if I'm a little touchy, but I'll be damned if people are going to start saying demeaning things about my family, and other families that I know that lost their lives in the holocaust and damned if I'm going to let you sit there are and forget the suffering of my ancestors.... THERE IS A REASON JEWS ARE AFRAID - we've been persecuted our entire existence, without fail.

His point about Christmas was correct. Also me personally I did go to school with a guy that was jewish. He was a decent guy, but he was the type of person you could not make friends with, unless you yourself were jewish. I'm starting to beleive that religion may be the cause of most of the worlds problems. I mean, if there were no jews, christians, muslims, or hindu's and everybody just focused on making their lives better and the lives of those around them better most of the problems we've faced in the world would never have happened.

But I guess it's always nice to have something to beleive in.

Well I guess you are right about that, you can't really generalize. But I do notice that because jewish people are predominantly white (at least in America) that they can get away with doing a lot of things others cannot, and when they do get questioned they always seem to drop the anti-semite card. It seems like it's a get-out-of-jail-free type deal because nobody wants to be considered an anti-semite. Like what happened with the Israeli spies, spying inside the US. I mean come on. If that was any other country do you actually think the outcome would have been the same. It's already clear that America's interests are Israel's interest first before itself. They send Israel billions of dollars yet there are still people on the streets dying of starvation. That to me is complete bullshit. At the risk of sounding racist, I don't think Israel or any other country for that matter should be receiving money from the US when there are US civilians living in poverty, going hungry, and dying just because they can't make ends meet. That is an indication right there of what entities are actually running the country.

Uh, he could be refering to anything, like the billions of US aid that goes to Israel or issues regarding the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. It's not necessarily bigotry since the context isn't mentioned. :roll:

There you go again. I'm a jew. I don't send apenny to Israel and I wouldn't until they stop helping perpetuate the massacre that is occuring there. So because you hate Israel and its actions you hate Jews? Do you know that most Israelis aren't Jewish?
