Defense Closing Argument should be a good work of fiction.

Hell the entire defense is a work of fiction, claiming the kid drowned and the dad helped "cover it up" by disposing of the body is just dumb, he loved that kid and would have dialed 911 if that happened..

I found out today that my dad knew Casey's mom when she was growing up. Was friends with her older brother. Makes sense as my dad and I were both born in Warren, OH and apparently Casey was too.

She's straight pimp, yo!

Hate to break it down to all you morons that think that death penalty actually solves anything, but it's very doubtful she'll get it. I've been watching the case and the arguments made and it seems like there's some missing links that are vital to establishing premeditated murder, and therefore jumps in conclusion had to be made.

No doubt she killed her daughter, but given the fact that there's some missing evidence that's key to the case she's probably not gonna get the death penalty, and she even has the possibility of getting 2nd degree murder. Not that I agree with that, I think it would've been better if she got three life sentences, but the fact is there's some missing links in the story.

I think the defense made good closing arguements. I don't think there's enough evidence to show that Casey personally did the killing of her daughter, but a 2nd degree murder conviction could be likely. What is the sentence for 2nd degree murder in the state of Florida anyway?

Nevermind, found this:

Definition of Second Degree Murder
The crime of Second Degree Murder occurs when a person commits either:

Murder with a Depraved Mind or Accomplice Felony Murder

Well.. AFAIK, the difference between 1st degree & 2nd degree is Premeditation.

If you believe Casey did the Chloroform search... and then used the info to sedate/kill Caley... it's 1st.

If you discount the theory that that Casey did the Chloroform search, or that it was used as part of the homicide, it's 2nd.

The price on their home has really dropped..

Might be worth investing in, after Casey Anthony is free, finishes her future book and interviews on talk shows, rakes in hundreds of thousands (or millions), you could sell it at an inflated price to someone who wants to turn it into a museum for the followers of Nancy Grace.

...

Let us hope that none of the above happens, but sadly after OJ's trial and book, I think anything is possible...

Avoiding all I can in the news, do not care. However, I'll agree she is hot in a trashy way. I guarantee a lot of guys following this case would still hit it.

i can see people saying if she didn't use chloroform then she didn't kill her.

This is a all or nothing situation. either she killed her (with intent) or she didn't and it was a accident.

so i bet she gets 1st degree since there is no way in hell she is getting off.

then again i thought that of OJ..

Well.. there's still 2nd degree, and 3rd degree.

If they deadlock on 1st degree... they probably wont on 2nd, and she'll get 2nd.
