Why is Mcdonalds so stingy with their sauce?

Can anyone tell me why Mcdonalds is so stingy when it comes to their sauces? I really want to know why and I'm hoping someone that works there can tell me.
If you've got a 20 piece chicken mcnugget meal and ask for sauce they give you one, if you try and ask for more they say they will charge you. But they give you a sh!tload of ketchup though. If you are lucky you will get the kid who doesn't give a crap and will give you as much as you want.

And while we are on the subject, what the hell is up with the single napkin dispenser? Next thing you know they will have them behind the counter and you will have to ask them for one, more than one will cost extra.

And another thing, could they possibly have people with the sh!ttiest attitude behind the counter? Everyonce in a while I'll get someone who is nice but it's usually because it's their second day.

Quite honestly I don't know how Mcdonalds does so well when everything they do is crap. Mcdonalds has to be the least customer service oriented fast food company I know and I don't understand how they are so big.

Anyone with some insight please elaborate for me.

I think from now on I'm going to do myself and my body a favor and just bring my own lunch.

****end rant

I always order a Big Mac with extra sauce and they never give me extra sauce. In fact, I get less when I ask for extra then I do when I don't ask for it.

Meanies!

Actually they are not doing so well anymore. They just took their first loss in some time recently, from what I recall reading.

McDonalds isn't doing so well. They have stores all over the world closing down. People are getting fed up with their crappy food and worse service.

Well, as for the bad attitude, when you have person after person come in and cuss you out (not kidding) it tends to put you in a bad mood. I never worked window, only grill, but I constantly heard the people getting yelled at up front with stuff like "You stupid motherfvcker can't you fvcking get an order right you piece of sh!t" and stuff like that.

And again, I'm not joking. People are plain assholes sometimes.

I used to work for mcdonalds back in high school, they pretty much suck

When i was working in the grill and heard someone being an ass and say "make sure i get a lot of this or a lot of that" I did just that. One guy was bitching about how he only ever got two pickles so i gave him like 20 (not joking).

and also, lets face it, if your working at mcdonalds its a shitty job with no real future advancement or increased pay scales, you really have no reason to be happy (at least I didnt, i was just looking forward to college)

I know it's not a world class resteraunt but if you ask for extra shouldn't they put a little more? I would if I worked there. Maybe I'm just more concerned with customer satisfaction then the majority of the people that work there.

I believe you and the attitude I can live with I just see that as a part of retail. Unfortunately @ssholes are apart of any kind of retail job (actually all jobs have to deal with some sort of @sshole).

Oh, I'm not justifying the bad attitude of McDonalds employees... I'm just saying there is a reason for it.
