total opposite at my store. i've only called in once in 9 months or so, but other people call in alot. i myself am late alot. no one really cares, as long as you call when you aren't going to come in.

I got written up for having to go to the ER when I was sick at work.

you should have said something to the health department.

Pay off.
damn, thats a crooked store :p

I meant we were *supposed* to pay for our food. I never did, and since I could run the grill by myself, and do any station blindfolded, they didn't have any leverage over me.
yeah, same deal with me. i am one of two grill closers, and second in seniority in nightside grill, so managers can't push me around like they can newbies ;)

I had a 192 hour pay check once.
god damn. i work about 25 hours a week, although that's decreasing. at my high point i worked about 30 hours a week. i feel overworked as it is ;)

lmao, exact same thing here. I would start talking about the particle/wave duality just to piss the other employees off.
hehe, there have been a few somewhat smart people i've worked with. one is at uni right now, majoring in computer engineering. he still wasnt nearly the nerd i am, but alot better than most people. cool guy too. i don't talk much about computer stuff at work, peoples eyes just glaze over.

No kidding. I did get $6.50/hr though. There were no hi-tech jobs in Biloxi, unless you worked at a casino. I couldn't because I wasn't (and still am not) 21.
i need a freaking tech job! it seems that there is a very slight possibility of getting a job at a local isp from contacts in my lug, although i don't know how likely that is.

I wouldn't be complaining about the sauce stingyness. Last summer, I was in London, and If I recall correctly, Ketchup was 6 pence a packet, and you had to argue to get more than one napkin.

I wish they'd be stingy with the mayonnaise/ketchup they put on their burgers. Good god, if I wanted a liquid burger I would ask for one!
