I tried watching it 2 or 3 times, and didn't like it.

But I have a friend from Texas who though it was funnier than anything else. Guess I just didn't have the same cultural reference.

I find the show pretty damn funny. You know the saying "It's only funny because it's true". That fits King of the Hill. But if you've never lived in an area like that, you won't see the truth to it. It reminds me a lot of Orlando.

King of the Hill is funnier than Family Guy. Sometimes funnier than Simpsons or Futurama but not usually.
