Or Franklin, Ohio. *shudder*

Anyway, I find the show to be very dull and a repeat of the same jokes. Bobby is a loser. Hank tries to be the man in the situation. Peggy either gets her b!tch on, or succumbs to some disaster. Boring. The writers on the show had a good idea, but they don't give their characters enough freedom. This is why the Simpsons is better, because they keep a realistic plot, but there are still off-beat moments that keep people watching.

Save for the realistic part, that is why Family Guy was so hilarious.

Yeah, I really really hate it. I wish Mike Judge had kept up with Beavis and Butthead instead (that show was nothing brilliant, but at least it was funny!). KOTH is the worst kind of formulaic sitcom IMO, and it just happens to be animated.

I think Fox just wants to rub it in everyones face that they have canceled their good shows.

I used to hate it when it first came on, but now I like it. It doesn't have jokes, per se, like other shows. It's funny only if you've watched it enough to know the characters. The way the characters act and interact is why I watch it.

I'm more curious why Banzai is on the air.

Exactly. It's a slower-paced character driven comedy. Just because it isn't in your face like Family Guy (a show I love, significantly moreso than KOTH), or as high energy (and hence not pandering to the short attention span of our culture), doesn't mean it's not a good show. If you can't watch more than a few episodes, you probably won't like it. If you can, you probably will.

family guy and futurama are joke funny shows which i both love.

koth is sort of a satirical show which takes a different approach to comedy. it's also funny, just that most of you don't get it since the demo here is young males with ADHD that would only appreciate shows like family guy and futurama.

The show is truely awesome. However, you must be from the south to get most of the jokes, I think.

Well @ 49 I don't think I fit your profile.

Family Guy = VERY Funny

Futurama = Funny

King of the Hill = Not very funny

I agree completely. I used to hate it too and thought it was just a show MEANT for the slow-witted trailer park crowd because it wasn't dropping pop culture references every two seconds to make me bust a gut laughing like Family Guy. But once I stopped bothering to flip the channel when it came on (I watch the late night reruns while I'm surfing) I actually found myself enjoying it more and more. It's basically a character-driven comedy just like any other non-animated sitcom which is why I'm assuming it bores a lot of people since they now expect stuff that CAN'T be done in the real world (like all the wild pop culture flashback sequences in Family Guy) in their animated comedies. Flintstones is pretty much the same way, yet it's considered a classic even though there are very few LOL moments at all in it. The more I watch it, the more I appreciate the detailed personalities created for the characters (except Peggy, I can't stand her character although I appreciate the humor in her idiosyncrasies.) I still don't go out of my way to watch the newest episodes. I just catch them when they come on reruns.

Rusty Shackleford is one of my favorite aliases to play games for and leave with potential spammer registrations now. It keeps me out of "the Beast." :D

You have got to be kidding. Bonzai has to be one of the most annoying things ever created on television. Right next to the Dr. Scholls "Gellin" Commercils.

it's a hilarious show, and if you don't think so it's because you need humor ground in your face for you to understand it. it's all about dry and subtlety, think about it like that and you might like it.
