not quite as bad as people make it to be. esp with todays pc/ram.

Imagine if every software developer shared Apple's mentality about design? We'd need 256gb ram just to boot up our systems.

really? i'd love to see where apple requires more ram then vista. please, do tell.

This topic is about Itunes, not Vista. Please try to stay on topic, take your ADD/ADHD meds or something.

Regardless, OS =/= small app, or rather, what should be a small app. When a music player has a footprint over 100mb and 3+ running processes even when it isn't open, I think it's safe to say there's a pretty fucking serious problem. Itunes is shit, just like everything else made by Apple. The only difference is it's not horribly overpriced like everything else made by Apple.

You're the one who strayed off-topic by asserting that software following Apple's design would require 256 GB of RAM, dumbass.

Entirely on topic, it was a comment on software design in relation to Itunes. But I guess you showed me what's what by calling me a name, kid.

oh, is that why you made some outlandish statement you can't back up. dude, you said it. not me. i don't know what apple design and 256gb of ram to boot up a system has to do with itunes.

oh wait, i know. you're an idiot. that explains it.

i'd also love to hear your overpriced argument. show me where the mac pro is overpriced compared to the same components on the pc side. show me where the iphone is overpriced compared to other cell phones with similar abilities.
your arguments are old and unfounded, i know people like you get talking points from friends and family that like you, have no clue, but please be ready to back your outrageous claims.

you have no ground to stand on and sound like a dumb ass. the best you can do is come off with some add/adhd comment, so i can only imagine you try to deflect the inquiry because you know you haven't a clue.

when it comes down to apple design, just look at the ipod. in your mind there either must be a whole lot of ram, or it's magic how the ipod can run a version of OS X. wow, amazing. how could they do it without 256gb of ram. the iphone too.

all your comments are pertinent, like:

Apple sucks, hard.

I guess they must have turned you down for a job at a retail store or something, for you to have such a poor attitude, but then you can't back why you think they suck, you just think it's cool to fall into the i hate apple crowd.

makes you cool, eh kid?
thanks for wasting my time.

not even close. good try, though. i'd love to hear how everything made by apple is shit. you have such enlightening posts, and i would love to hear your intelligence at it's best. please indulge us and share with us how everything made by apple is shit.

or, you can just tell me to take my meds again or something else as stupid, and not explain yourself. either way, your choice, kid.

Calm down, blackbox, that vein in your forehead's going to burst. Apple sucks, deal with it kiddo.

yeah, as i thought. true genius at work. you really don't have a clue.

I think we've found him. The only Apple customer on Earth who isn't totally convinced that having spent much more money than necessary makes him a better person. Jeez, I almost prefer the smug condescension to the childish vitriol :Q

who can't let it go?
dude, i've used pc's probably a lot longer then you have been alive. what are you like, 24 at most? i love pc's, if it wasn't for windows, there wouldn't be any good games on the market. all systems have to have their place. from experience, i'll support apple, not just some stupid "i'm cool i hate apple" ideal. someday, maybe when you have a little more real world experience or maybe have to rely on a computer for more then games and email, like in a production envrionment, you'll get a little wiser.

but, i'm done with your hollow claims. please feel free to post in the other thread if you can imagine a valid argument.

off topic though:

hey, do you live near saranac?

So far you've pulled the age card and presumed that I dislike Apple because I feel it's fashionable. Honestly, just enjoy your day off from high school due to the snow. You're getting way too angry over something so silly - although I do appreciate the entertainment 😉
