Why is it when you get married, chicks start to hit on you...?

Because you are married you were probably not looking to pickup any of these women. They are used to guys fawning all over them and trying to get in their pants. You weren't emitting any of these vibes and thus they probably sensed that and responded logically to that. It's all completely logical 🙂.

I have experienced this also....I thought 2 things, confidence (yourself and where you are personally) & disinterested/friendliness.....

I would have asked to see the computer tab entry. She was pulling your leg to try and get a better tip I bet. Wait until there's no potential money involved and see if women still treat you the same. You did the right thing. You saw through their evil plot and you defeated them at their own game! The bartenders were probably succubii.

It is a simple filtration system.
Its like you have already been deemed worthy enough by someone else from their gender - which means you must have some deent characteristics, which is better than an average joe off the street who has to start from scratch.

Bingo! Plus the guy comes across as happy/relaxed, unlike when they're single when they kinda look anxious/stressed/unhappy, etc.
 
Sorry to play the cynic, but I too think she was just exploiting you. If you think about it, it seems a little ridiculous for a bartender to make the effort to punch in "CUTI ON THE LEFT" for another bartender when she probably sees a few hundred guys a day. I'd estimate that she sees so many attractive men that it's probably to the point where she doesn't even care anymore. It's like going to the strip club and pointing out that there are naked women running around.

So, I think she tried to flatter you for a bigger tip and it worked. It's a tool, so some women know it and some use it.

That's pretty much it right there.

Married men are "safe." Women aren't afraid of married men because that man is already spoken for. That being said, women (and people in general) want things they cannot have. I know women that actually prefer to chase/sleep with married men.
 
I used to stop by one particular bar after work. Every few weeks, there was a somewhat attractive female bartender there. It was amazing to watch how she manipulated every guy in the bar... she got twice the tips that the normal bartender got. (Not from me though - just my standard tip = $1 per beer brought to me)

A similar thing recently happened (is happening) to me. After announcing to a couple of people at work that my wife and I were happily celebrating our 38th anniversary I?m getting hit on by a number women. This includes my last supervisor.

Even the girls in the building coffee and gift shops are getting in the act. Normally I treat everyone with curtsey and respect but it?s getting to be ridicules. That?s with these people?
