First of all. if you're saying
quote:

Enough about it already or you will make my ignore list.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
show's to me that either:
a) you're wrong
b) you can't defend your case much further.
answer me this:
* Did Afghanistan just have free elections?
* Did Iraq draft a constitution?
It's not a light switch, democracy doesn't happen over night. We probably wont see it in our lifetime in the middle east. But as the old proverb goes, every single journey starts with a single step.
Look at the US. The Treaty of Paris was signed on September 3, 1783, ratified on January 14, 1784, Washington took office on April 30, 1789. There was a lot of turmoil in between 1784-1789. Each state had its own laws and currency, states wouldn't give any military support to eachother, etc. Finally there was a big step towards unity and the democracy that makes the US the strongest democracy in the world, when the Constitution was written in 1789. Not to say that it was smooth sailing from there on in but it is just an example that democracy evolves, it doesn't just happen over night. Couple that with Iraq and Afghanistan being in some of the most unstable areas of the world.
Look towards the positive instead of the negative of every situation. See the light, and not the darkness. The darkness is the easy way. It's easy to blame Bush for the small things he does wrong, than to accept his ideals and defend them and trudge forward to create a better future. This is not a question about us putting our values upon other people, but it's more of a means to stop the powder keg from growing. If you disagree that there's a powder keg, you're obviously not seeing the whole picture. The middle east has the makings of WWIII.
If you ignore me and don't write back I'll assume that both a&b are the case.
YOUR RESPONSE
assume what you like, I really don't care to argue with you about it. I have better thing to do. Sorry you don't like my sig. I saw your thread that got locked, the one with your new sig. Cute

If all of these sour pussed liberals or quasi conservatives who muckrake this this adminstration would just take all of their energy wasting time on useless nonsense (in retrospect with all of the problems in the world)and focus on things that would benefit the world... we'd be about 20 steps ahead of where we are.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe you should focus your attention at something beside my sig?? Cause I'm keeping it.
The whole point of my conversation with you was to get a grasp on what you were trying to explain in your signature, and you go off on some childish nonsense. Expect and respect people having other opinions and beliefs. I am adamantly against some things in life, and though I may sound like it, I adamantly respect other opinions, especially if they will engage in a conversation or debate on the issue.
sorry to post this publically, but its my nature not to let things die, until they are dead
