For the record and once again, SlickWilly got away with the bj, even Hillary "forgave him". What he didn't get away with was perjury. Then again... he got away with that too. Go figure.

I didn't complain about anything. The BJ snowballed into perjury only because a partisan congress wanted to disgrace a popular president by using a personal issue. They effectively tricked him into testifying and then lying.

Now, if we could ever get Bush under oath regarding wire taps or pre-war intelligence AND he lied AND we could prove it, no Republican would ever touch him. If democrats tried (and they have recently) to impeach him for lying or breaking laws, then they are accused of nothing more than political manuvering.

I guess this country loves double standards.

exactly. he heads the executive branch of the US gov't. if something in his branch is screwed up its his job to fix it.

You are talking about accountability, that word is almost extinct in this country.
