No one wants to follow the vision of a person who only bitches and moans day after day, after day, after day.
If people like this demonstrated more maturity and vision, they might be taken more seriously.

He makes himself an awfully easy target. Part of it has to do with the fact that the people in power want him as a patsy for everything. It's a great precedent for them to put him up... guilty of so much evil, in the eyes of the people... yet completely untouchable. It's just part of the psychological preparation of the population for a authoritarian government.

exactly. he heads the executive branch of the US gov't. if something in his branch is screwed up its his job to fix it.
Like the ports deal. He didn't even know that the people he entrusts to provide security would let an arab nation manage the ports. Then, he finally found out and decided to take a stand. The stand is, "This administration can never be wrong about anything."
President Bush is actually an Arab nation ass kisser. Wouldn't you have to agree? He just doesn't like Arab nations who spit in his face. He'll own them (Iraq, Palestine).

I know this isn't exactly the truth, as there are so many people around the president doing god knows what, and I doubt the president is even aware of all of it. However, being the people's scapegoat is just part of the job. When you take on the responsibility of being number one, you get all the benefits, and all of the negatives. Everyone from Washington to Bush Jr. knows this and asked for it.
Sorry, but you are so full of it. The president has lead this country down a dark path by HIS and HIS administration's failures.. giving the democrats equal blame for a republican controlled congress and presidency is so passed pathetic that it makes YOUR arguments worthless.

People's maturity have nothing to do with anything... it does not matter if YOU or OTHERS don't want to take it seriously... when the United States is in completely deep ******, it will be too late... I guess you'll be in a crater saying, "but if only they showed more maturity, I might have seen this coming!"
Why do people blame the President? How many COMPLETE AND UTTER FAILURES do you need? How much UTTER AND BLATANT CORRUPTION do you need?
They say that we learn history in school to prevent ourselves from making the same mistakes twice... How many mistakes need to be repeated until people get it?
Let's list a few highlights of the Bush ADMINISTRATION:
Corruption throughout the White House including Libby/Cheney.- Bush said that he would not tolerate corruption and take appropriate action for anyone involved- Cheney admitted this. Nothing has been done.
Hamas has come to rule.- Cond Rice- "How were we supposed to know?"
10s of thousands of dead Iraqis, and over 14k injured Americans, over 2k dead in a war that has accomplished absolutely nothing.
1000s of billions more in debt.
Katrina was handled as poorly as humanly possible and 6 months later people are still living on the streets...No levies being rebuilt.
9 billion dollars unaccounted for involving Iraqi assistance.
Millions of dollars unaccounted for involving Haliburton in Iraq. Still paying them
Handing over our ports to a group linked to the 9/11 attacks.
Iran is building nuclear weapons.
Iraq is showing signs of civil war.
We are giving fundamentalists in Iraq control of their "government."
A miserably failed social security reform plan.
4.5 years without capturing Bin Laden.
Cuts to education, cuts to border patrol, cuts to alternative energy, windfall profits for oil companies, environmental setbacks.
Illegal wiretaping on AMERICANS.
The patriot act restricting our american rights...
Bush agrees with and supports the above, therefore he and his ADMINISTRATION are to blame. Those above are only just off the top of my head... btw, he just hit a new low in a cbs poll today of a 34% approval rating.

I think that this type of smear tactic is a direct result of the democratic party being taken over by the far left. And if they want to actually win some elections they better move back to the center..because there's not enough P and N folks to carry the election for them.

I think its because he tries to take control of more things each year.
And he tries to take credit for everything that goes right.
And the bastard points fingers when anything goes wrong. :|

I don't blame him for every thing, just the looming deficit and everything that's wrong in Iraq. As for Iraq, Bush might share the blame with both Cheney and our bighorn congress.
