20-40 minutes, around midday, or a little after lunch, does wonders for me.

Why?

I don't know, but it sure feels nice.

Salvador Dali used to take a "Nap with a Key" where he would fall asleep holding a key between his fingers. When he nodded off the key would drop and wake him right back up. He really stressed the benefits of this method because it would refresh you without making you groggy.

There's more on this and some other nap related info here.

Dude, if I nap, it's gonna take more than a key drop to wake me up.

Maybe if I rear-ended the guy up front I can wake up.... :p

I was extremely tired once...I slept for 6 minutes. Felt great when I got up :)

I can't usually go to sleep that fast, though.

heh i don't think i could ever just sleep for just 5 min, i'm definitely a 1 hour+ man. actually now that i think about it i've done it in lecture once or twice. accidently nodded off and woke up with a jolt, i did feel pretty awake after that though :)

anyone ever try powernapping with your knees up? i hear it's supposed to help, something about more blood flow to the brain, tricks you into thinking you slept longer than you actually did.
