When I was at the register checking out, the woman in front of me said, "Oh shoot I forgot my coupon for 15% off." I heard that and said, "OH YEAH ME TOO!". So the cashier gave us both the discount. Great customer service. 2 pairs of pants for $40.

Kohl's is one of few stores to actually make it worthwhile to have their store credit card, because they have coupons like that monthly. I still haven't gotten their card though.

Might as well have bought all of that at Wally World for $55 and saved yourslef a few more bucks

Buying dress clothes at Kohls:(

You can't buy good clothes at walmart for the most part. All their dress and dress casual stuff is utter ******.

About the only thing I would get there are wrangler jeans, though I'd rather buy them from target than support walmart.

...for $77.86.

I love it.

I bought those exact same socks, and also shoes for work at Kohl's just last week. It's the one in Machesney Park.

I attribute my abnormally large collection of shoes (~20 pairs/male/heterosexual) to Kohl's clearance deals. And I always buy my New Balances there.

Quoted for ActuaryTm and prosperity ;)

Just went to Kohls today and got some great deals. Was one of the special days for Kohls Charge Card users.

Got some Reebok tennis shoes.

Regular price $59.99
Current Store Sale: $29.99
15% off of the item for some unknown reason = $25.49
15% off total purchase for using Kohls Charge = $21.67

The Sonoma Carpenter Jeans I like were on sale for $11.99 - 15% = $10.19

Absolutely an awesome place to shop.

Only bad thing is every time my wife makes a big purchase, within a few days we always get a coupon in the mail for 20% off so she has to go back and rebuy everything and then return them with the original receipt. But that's a minor complaint heh heh.

BUying dress clothes and budgets are funny. If you are a lawyer, you better buy nice stuff.

If you are like me ... an engineer ... it doesn't really matter, so why wast ethe money?

My wife is addicted to Kohl's. I finally made her get a charge card there to take advantage of the sales and coupons, but then I think it just made her spend more, which of course is what they intended. I go for the deals; she follows the marketing plan.

It's not top tier quality, but the prices are good. When I start buying clothes for work instead of uniforms next year, I'll buy better quality stuff. For everyday wear, who cares? I'm married, it's decent quality and looks good, and it doesn't kill the bank account.

The BEST place to find high quality, name brand clothing at amazing prices is Off 5th, the Saks outlet store. You have to live near one though so you can check every week because the stock is so variable. There's one in Nashville, and I used to go at least once a week to browse. Found an Italian wool suit, a pair of Bruno Magli shoes, two Italian sportcoats (one wool, one linen), Armani shirts and pants, some Hugo Boss -- all at about 80% or more from original cost. All of these things are still wearable after nearly 10 years though I had to dump the suit and sportcoats because my shoulders outgrew them. If that's not bang for the buck, I don't know what is!
