I have endured quite a few "Ross: Dress for less" jokes growing up :(

We have a new Kohls store a mile or so from my house and since it's not a big, busy area, it's always dead. I love Kohls. But if you ever buy anything there at full price, you've been had. Jeans for $15, Reebok/Nike shoes for $30, can't beat them.

DainBramaged,

A little advice: NEVER pose for pictures holding a gun, especially in an aggressive way.

If you are EVER accused of a crime, want to run for office or an ex-wife wants to keep your kids from you, those pics will come back to haunt you, big time.

?????

The idea is the picture could be used as evidence against to show the character of the individual. For example (not necessarily a good one), the PS3 robbers that were shot had posed in a picture on Myspace with guns and the police (when they got their warrant) saw those pictures and assumed they were heavily armed when the burst into the house and we all know what happened there.

Might as well have bought all of that at Wally World for $55 and saved yourslef a few more bucks

Buying dress clothes at Kohls:(

No kidding. I bought a pair of loafers there once. They were comfortable but looked like hell within a couple months. Not even polish would help them. If you like total crap then I guess Kohls is the shizzle.

I've bought all my sneaks and boots at Kohls for the last 10 years. It is SWEET not having to wait on a shoe flunky in a shoe store. Good deals on cheap work clothes, boxers, socks, and knick-knacks... I love 'em!

I'm less than 2 miles away from both of these stores, as well as a TJ Maxx (in different plazas). Says something about the neighborhood I live in, no? :)

I like going to Kohl's for random stuff and accessories like slippers, bathrobes, gloves, socks, underwear, wallets, gifts for people I barely know under $10, etc. Never been inside a Ross, and with that gaudy logo and stupid tagline I probably never will. TJ Maxx for me baby, yea!!!

Kohl's is just a Mervyn's clone. Apparently (according to the story) started by a couple of former Mervyns executives, who have followed the Mervyn's business plan pretty closely. The lay out of the stores and the mediocre quality of most merchandise are just a couple of examples...Neither store carrys much in the line of "talls" for men, so almost nothing I own comes from there. IIRC, a couple of pais of joggers maybe, but that's about it...

Guilty as charged.

No offense, but you're handling that gun like a poser who've seen too many movies.

Maybe that was the point? Did you invent the game called "Jump To Conclusions"?

Well, I found this on his website: http://img274.imageshack.us/img274/4894/jumptoconclusions2xk.jpg

But I don't want to infer anything from it. You know...

I love it.

I bought those exact same socks, and also shoes for work at Kohl's just last week. It's the one in Machesney Park.

I attribute my abnormally large collection of shoes (~20 pairs/male/heterosexual) to Kohl's clearance deals. And I always buy my New Balances there.

I went to Khols the other day and got there AWESOME cargo pants (that I'm wearing now) they are lined with flannel, soooo comfortable. When I was at the register checking out, the woman in front of me said, "Oh shoot I forgot my coupon for 15% off." I heard that and said, "OH YEAH ME TOO!". So the cashier gave us both the discount. Great customer service. 2 pairs of pants for $40.
