Just wait until you make more money and look at your w2. You'll want to cry when you see 35 thousand in takes.

Nah, I'll get some back. I think I got like almost $200 back, but then I had to pay the state $100 more......but, 35k in taxes?! How much do you make for goodness sake!! Throw some money my way and write it off or something!

Ok, I'm a college student, as many of you ATer's are. I also work for a living to be able to eat and sleep in a bed and stuff. I have student loans (that cover about half of my tuition) and I make $7.50/hour at a local tech support. The government takes $1.35/hour of my paycheck, or 18% of what I could make. I'm all about government programs and stuff, and having them collect taxes, but can't they go a little easier on the people who go to school full time and work? Why do people that make ~ $6k/year paying 18% tax anyways? Why do I pay money when I have to borrow from them to pay tuition? What's going on?!
You will probably get e refund at the end of the year. What did you get when you did your taxes last year?
