you were the one who made it bitter. You attacked my personally, rather than attacking the facts. If people can't handle the truth of the article, it's not problem. I'd be really surprised if I was banned from here, as some people are asking, for having an unpopular opinion.

The fact remains.

Whoa Whoa Whoa, I didn't ask for you to be banned from the site because you have an unpopular opinion, I merely suggested that you should be banned because you are a fvckstick for not warning people about your site. I mean c'mon. I am a firefox user, I read your diatribe and come to the section about how your front page doesn't look right under firefox, what the fvck do you think I am going to do? Take your word for it? Fvck no I'll check it out.

Here's your hat, it's made out of an ass.

Firefox is nice and all but it drives me nuts how they blatantly ripped off all the features Opera has been offering for no less than 2 years now and stole all the credit for their creative work. Firefox has absolutely nothing innovative, and Opera is still smaller, faster, and comes with all its features standard rather than needing a bunch of plugins.

I use Opera because it is a better product than IE. Sometimes I use Firefox just to change things up, but also because it is a better product than IE.

Funny how that the OP is talking about trying to be W3 compliant yet the trend is to move away from tables. Also, so funny that IE is the browser actually displaying the table incorrectly because there is no code to center that table. I suppose, though, others pointed that out but the anti-Firefox people just glazed over that.

I am still laughing how the OP tried to pull a fast one on the net when we can all view the source code and quite clearly see there is no HTML to center align the table.

I never had any spyware and stuff on IE, but I was taking a lot precautions.

I just like it because my wife uses IE, and she has all kinds of bookmarks that I don't use. Firefox is my browser and has my links.

btw, I hate tabbed browsing, and I hate the fact the ctrl+n opens to the default page, instead of the page you were on. other than that, I don't notice much of a difference

This guy just makes me laugh. He seems to be one of those really cool guys that has his own forum and tries to make himself to be a big badass on his website with all of his little yes-men tellhing him how cool he is.

FF users say firefox is better because it adheres to W3 Standards so well

and I proved this, with two demo pages, and links to the W3C validator, and provided that as evidence.

Yep, you proved that firefox adheres to the W3 Standards well. IE automatically assumes that the box should be centered, even though NONE OF YOUR CODE TOLD IT TO DO SO. Where did the "assume it should be centered" standard come from?

Thanks for the free porn, op.

I like FF because it has fast updates, tabbed browsing, easy skin changes, extensions, and BEST OF ALL a geat search engine box that lets use a bunch of different databases. It I hit Control T, tab, and Control down arrow a few times, I can search ebay, dictionary.com, websters.

I'm not sure if you knew this, but you can just type "dict WORD" and it pulls up the meaning of WORD through dictionary.com :)

This dolt keeps trying to flame everyone, but can't seem to understand the simple concept that a table is NOT text.

Firefox (AKA. the standards whore) sucks because it doesnt display things nicely on the screen. I don't give a crap about the standards, nor do I give a flying fvck about compliance.
20% of DELL pages (requesting invoices, for example) are not working properly with Firefox.
Buydig.com does not work properly with Firefox.
ATT CallVantage website does not work properly with Firefox.
Asus website does not work properly with Firefox.
And a bunch of websites that I just don't remember off the top of my head.
And what are all these arguments about spyware? My machines (3 at home) are fine (hijackthis log is perfectly clean). Maybe you should learn how to protect yourself rather than blaming on the browser. I find it's amazing that people use Symantec/McAfee to prevent virus but let spyware roam free on their computers and then blame IE for that.

EDIT:
One more thing I hate: the middle button on my mouse opens a new tab in Firefox, very annoying. Can't be turned off, either.

there is a plugin that makes ctrl+n work exactly the way it does in IE.

edit: it's called Clone Window.

Does anyone else think it is HIGHLY amusing that someone called "Unixfreak" is bashing Firefox and uses IE?????

What version of Unix are you running? Don't see too many Unix flavors that have IE installed......

I wonder how many percent of your 50367 posts (at the moment I'm typing this up) is made up of these kinds of responses.
