I like fast food, I just don't like the big chain ones.

Diner burgers is fast food too and if I crave burgers, I buy from diners rather than Mcdonalds. I wonder why they didn't do the study/observation with burgers instead of salad?

Watched that clip, and I have to say Bullshit seems kinda' bullshit. They take the clips of the 6-8 people whose reactions support their thesis, and intersperse it with carefully selected snippets from "experts."

No mention of how many people they actually did these taste tests with, it could have been hundreds, with just those few giving the reactions they wanted.

I call Bullshit on Bullshit. :awe:

Says the guy who starts a sentence with and.

This is the fucking internet. Sentence structure and grammar are far more lax on here. And I don't fucking care. See? I did it again. But I don't make up words or use vernacular that makes me sound like a fucking moron.

I know, but Taco Bell tastes like shit! I understand the fallacy of my argument, since the subject of the video was that people's perception of the health of a food product is influenced heavily by presentation, but man... I just can't see myself thinking anything from Taco Bell came from anywhere other than Taco Bell.

no it doesn't, it's delicious and that's why there's millions of people who eat there.

Mostly the good points are on the blind taste tests they do.
Whether its wine, or bottled water vs tap, what you tell a person and what they think it is affects their perception, regardless of reality. So if you gussy up some fast food as restaurant they'll think its wonderful, like tap water as bottled, cheap wine as expensive etc.

I don't dislike fast food because it's bad for you or, makes people fat. I dislike fast food because it's poorly prepared and the very idea of fast food eliminates a major component of dining which is to spend time with family and friends. I also dislike fast food because it trains the tastes of the consumer in the same way that the grocery stores train the tastes of consumers by offering produce year around without regard to season. Produce picked green and shipped half way around the world or grown hydroponically is poor quality. Likewise, fast food focuses more on uniformity rather than quality.

I agree with you. Fast food, to me, is just bland and uninspired.

Shakespeare started sentences with and.

People who think you can't start a sentence with and or but or or either mistakenly took their high school English teachers to heart or they never wrote professionally.

It's nothing to be embarrassed about it's science.

PS cancel your ACed gym memberships you have to work 3x as hard in there for same results. (which no one has time for so no one does)

I could see you losing water weight with no AC, but losing fat 3x faster? I have skepticism.

Anyway, I'm in an AC'd place almost all the time and guess what... I iz skinnay! :awe:

I guess I should stay in an AC'd gym if I wanna gain weight and muscle mass? :awe:

Neither could the people in the video...

deep fried bowl, quarter cup of ranch dressing, and likely a crap ton of 'cheese' and these people guess 300 cals? i wonder what the people who didn't make it onto the show guessed?

hint: restaurant food is almost universally high in fat and salt. so much so that you've numbed your palate to salt and require added salt in order to taste anything.

Home cooked food can be just as high or more cus people like it that way no different.

So fucking obvious but people are so fucking dumb.
That's why Supersize Me! was such a big hit despite being so obviously retarded. It's obvious if you eat three of the largest meals at mc donalds, that NO ONE ever fucking does, you'd fuck up your health. If you ate that much of ANYTHING, you'd fuck up your health, regardless of what restaurant it's from.

can be but doesn't have to be.

further, people like it that way because their palates have been trained by restaurants and packaged food to require 4000 mg of sodium to taste anything all day.

and magnus is right on the money with the complaint about restaurants and supermarkets having the same stuff year round regardless of if its in season.

People can like it that way cus that's how it was cooked at home as well. Blaming everything on restaurants isn't fair.

You should triple your fruit loop intake.

How old are you Trident 16? Wait till you're 30, with years of ribs, inactivity, cubicles and cocktail nights behind you. That shit adds up indoors just piles on. if they were in 100F not problem.😛 Did you even read the article?

Oh I see your problem, you're a scrawnomorth (google ectomorthism) 😛

You want mass quick? eat all the time even if you're not hungry. Never run.

when you hit gym you do no more than 4 reps 3sets per body part 4x3 is good. First rep you should be able to do alone, second little help, third rep lots of help, forth head turning beet red and arms shaking with spotter helping. repeat 3x. Very good spotter is key! Every lift should be like a max lift.

You'll put mass on, quick.🙂

Think big muscle groups squats, dead lifts, bench etc - don't fuck with the small stuff like wrist curls or calves.
