Old people are like young people, drunk. Slow response times. There ought to be a biannual test once you pass 60.

it's pretty obvious considering there are 3 people in the crosswalk, and 1 car on the left (passat) stopped.

Look at the picture again. The rest of the cars next to the benz are stopped, people are crossing the street. Please don't tell me you actually need someone to tell you the answer.

Gah! The lady hasn't even noticed the collision yet, it appears :( How did the photo come to be taken, was it one of the city/police 'intersection' type of cameras?

What's so bad about having to give a quick glance to check traffic before you enter the crosswalk? A car weight two tons, you weight two hundred pounds.

Probably a redlight camera.
Terrible picture to see :( Another reason for mandatory testing above 60.

In ATOT, everybody's either <150 or >250. Everybody. Anybody who says otherwise is lying.

Wow, grandma still hasn't noticed she just ran somebody over. Her face is zoned out looking straight ahead while everyone else in the photo is like, "OMFG!"

Yeah, the example kinda seems wrong but it sounds better. :(;)

I wish they would start this.

But every year something like this happens and yet they do NOT start testing.

Why do I suspect a photoshop? I guess i'm just too cautious... ;)

But that's a pretty.. interesting picture, though..

christ that doesn't even look real

but yes, old people suck worse then my sisters at driving (and they're young, female, and asian!)

It's in Europe - look at the wheels on the Benz, the other cars in the street, the pavement markings, and the license plate shapes.

Nice.

If it was photo-chopped it's a damn good job. Check out the expressions of the people in the car on the left.

Just the other day an old lady almost ran me off the road. In a 3 lane road, I was driving in the middle lane. The road eventually forks, where the 1st and 2nd lane continue down the road, and the 3rd leads into some warehouses. Where it forks theres a white area with the horizontal white lanes that signifies you can go there if you're really stuck to get over, but you really should be careful when doing so.

So like I was saying, I'm in the middle lane with this old lady in a Caddie to my right (3rd lane) about 1/2 of a car length ahead of me, and an Accord to my left. So this old lady is totally oblivious and proceeds to cut me off, going across the white area and some grass, and almost runs me into the Accord. Luckily there was no-one behind me when I slammed on the brakes or else it coulda been real bad. I'm honking my horn and cursing like a mad man, and this lady is still completely oblivious to the fact that she's the one that cut me off.
