you moron it was a mis-statment he admitted later that he didn't invent it. he headed up a committy in washington to help the net grow out of it's baby stages

The real issue is whether we want people voting en masse. If so, this would probably spell doom for the Republican party as we now know it. To protect their interests, we have to create an aura of 'fraud' associated with making voting more convenient.

Letting the inhabitants of a country vote would only make sense if they wouldn't all be so ignorant on politics.

Elledan, We finally agree on something :) If you can't read a ballot, clearly you can't determine who is most qualified to lead the nation :)

Ignorant on politics is a misnomer. We are all ignorant because we all vote according to our own interests. And last time I checked we all have a Constitutional right to vote, provided you're 18 and not an ex-felon. So let's bring the internet voting on.

What does the right to vote have to do with whether or not internet voting can be made fraud proof, beyond any possibility whatsoever,
which is what this discussion is about?
