Wow, this has turned into several pages of a certain neckbeard trolling people with contradictory responses created to stir the pot.

When will we collectively be granted freedom from neckbeard?

I'm yet to contradict myself in this thread.

"Premiership footballer sues Twitter after details of super-injunction were published"

Bonus wtf
"Earlier this month the High Court gave the green light for Louis Bacon, a billionaire US hedge fund manager to force Wikipedia, the online encyclopaedia, to disclose the identities of online commentators who allegedly defamed him.
According to legal experts, however, the action is unlikely to succeed as US-based companies could legally ignore or refuse to comply with a ruling by a British court."
They are even going after wikipedia as well? Good lord..

Funny how they have to get around it, not being able to name them even though the cat is out of the bag.

Disregard the daill fail

Because in the UK, as with everywhere else on the planet, there's no expected privacy in public places, that's why they are called public places, not private places.

With the way technology progresses, do you think the existing cameras will be the end of it or will public monitoring become more intrusive as technology allows? For example, what if the cameras could see through the clothing of a person to check if they have a bomb or a handgun? Would you be ok with that since, as you say, there is no expectation of privacy in public places? Just think what this attitude will allow for in 10-20 years.

I'd be fine with it, if it were automated and not viewed by other people or something, other people wouldn't however, I doubt it would happen, as there is an expectation that people can't see your cock in public if you are wearing clothes, that is a type of privacy people are afforded in public.

HAL9000 is a complete lay down.. in order to defend that obsolete country you would have to be. Proof falls on the defendant.. what a joke, I wouldn't give a shilling for your "rights"

and Gintaras, what country do you live in now out of curiosity?
