who needs so called "freedom of speech"? And
what is it?

I lived for 30 years in ussr, where we supposedly didn't have so called "free speech", but we had, i could talk to my friends about whatever we wanted to talk...we could not say anything on the street...but...who cares now, if someone says bad things about goverment today on the street, newspapers, internet? Does it change anything?
We had limited free speech....

What people in countries with so-called "free speech" are missing - free thinking...
Most do what "free speech media" tells them to do and to think...
9/11? "terrorist attack?",
when someone watching wtc building collapse at such speed and "so nicely" and with knowledge of physics free fall law and still keep bullshitting about imaginery terrorists - person does not have free thinking...

What is worse?

Thanks for the lulz, champ.

"In Mother Russia, terrorists imagine YOU!"

The problem is, We understand the American notion of freedom of speech, we just don't rank it that highly we have other freedoms that you guys in America don't have that we consider far more important that the freedom to saw what we want.

Still trying to figure out what privussy is.

And what freedom's do you have that we Americans don't?

Freedom from having to put up with certain groups to name one thing.

Has it really gotten that bad over there? That they have ingrained in your minds the concept of "Freedom From *" as actually being a good thing? "Freedom From *" isn't Freedom...it's censorship and oppression disguised in a fancy term, and not all that well either.

"Freedom From the Jewish religion."
"Freedom From Gypsies."
"Freedom From Communist thinking."
"Freedom From Jehovah's Witnesses."
"Freedom From the Press."
"Freedom From Accountability."

Wonder what country had those "Freedoms."

Freedom to have a funeraly without morons screaming "god hates fags" outside, is a freedom, a valuable one. It's not the same as the things you list.

Godwins law has it's place when it actually makes a point to bring it up. Believe me, I was hesitant to, but it's a perfect example in this case. It should also be noted that the above "freedoms" would also apply to virtually all dictatorships in the last several hundred years, substituting relevant religions of course.

So censorship of one group's freedom of speech = freedom now?

It does indeed. American Freedom of speech isn't the most important freedom in the world.

People have the right to mourn in piece, throw a funeral without morons screaming at them. That's a pretty important freedom right there. To name but one.

ah, yes, the freedom to squat in someone else's home.

I see.

So Neckbeard supports the "freedom" to remove the right for people to protest at a funeral because it annoys the participants. And yet he probably would bitch about the removal of his priviledge to post here because it annoys the participants.

I absolutely love how his idea of freedom is "you can only do things that I approve of." Something tells me that he slept through most of that Phil 101 class that he took.

And the freedom to rape other people in their home without them being able to defend themselves. Very important.

We don't have that. You guys seem to just want to troll rather than talk, I'll just sit back until a proper post pops up, something that doesn't have an absurd example of law in the UK taken to extreme or a stupid image.
