<< I fall into the "I hate having jewelry, watches, hats, ect" hanging, dangling, or wrapped around my body. I don't wear a watch. I've never worn a bracelet or a necklace of any sort. Hats are the devil. And rings just don't work on my fingers. I've got really big knuckles, but really skinny fingers so I need a big ring to get over my knuckle, but once it does, it's really loose and is ungodly annoying.
I'm going to be pretty much forced to wear my ring by my soon to be wife, but I'm going to hate every waking moment of having that damn thing on me. We compromised though. I'm getting a titanium wedding band that weighs like 1/10th what an equivalently sized platinum band would weigh. It's still on my finger, but at least it's light enough not to bug me....that much. >>
Actually, I find mine pretty comfy. It's a white gold with what they called "Comfort Fit" which basically meant that the inside was rounded a bit. Not at all uncomfortable. As I said earlier, I only remove it when I think I might lose it, other than that it's great.
In fact, when I don't have it on, I felltodd because I usually futz with it with my thumb. So when i don't fell it with my thumb i get freaked momentarily.
