I switched over to ZZF when NewEgg went UPS. I have not looked back, ZZF is on par with NewEgg from what I have seen.

Comeon, you guys know how it is when you want a new toy.

Generally, I have had good luck with ZZF, Egg, and Monarch but lately I have noticed Monarch lagging a bit. They pushed into 3 buisness days to get my order shipped on the last 2 orders. I also had to RMA a power supply the end of last year. It was brand new still sealed with the plastic wrapper, I basically just ordered the wrong one. Anyway it took them 3 months to get me my $$ back. I couldnt get anyone at monarch to return my calls or emails. I finally had to dispute with my CC, got a call and the money back the very next day ;)

I would buy alot more from ZZF if they started allowing local pickup.

Maybe you should have read this before you order and save yourself the trouble

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Service/SuperFast.jsp
Many Internet shoppers are under the impression that as long as they select Overnight Delivery their order will arrive the next day. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Please understand that ZipZoomfly usually requires at least 1-2 full business days to process an order before it is shipped out.
That said, it is possible to receive an order next day, if you take the following measures:

Make sure it is not Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. We do not offer weekend delivery. (In the case of 2 Day, make sure it is not Thursday.)
Make sure the item you are ordering only requires 1 business day processing time. Some items require 2-3 business days or longer. You can determine how much processing time your item requires by going to its information page on our website. If it usually only requires 1 business day, you will see the words "In Stock" and a check mark. Otherwise, the order placement button may show "Back Order".
Make sure the billing and shipping information you gave us exactly matches that on file with your credit card company. In some cases, even if there is a slight discrepancy between ZIP codes, your order may be delayed.
Make sure your shipping address is on file with your credit card company. If it is not, call them and ask them to add it to your account information.

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Service/Shipping.jsp

Important notes!

Your order's estimated time of arrival = travel time + processing time

Order processing requires 1-2 full business days.

"Travel Time" does not include weekends and holidays.

Due to carrier restrictions, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, GU, VI or PR addresses.

We only ship to the 50 US states at this time.

If you select Express Shipping Methods, your order will not necessarily arrive in one or two days respectively. For more on this, see the Fast Answer titled "Need Express Shipment?"

ZZF probably do not have a large distribution center like NewEgg does.

NewEgg
How long does it generally take to process an order?

It takes one to two business days for us to process an order (prior to shipping it). Once the order has shipped, your estimated time of arrival will be determined by your selected shipping method and your local FedEx guidelines for delivery. Newegg.com offers Rush Processing for orders placed before 12PM PST for a small additional fee. Newegg.com will put forth its best efforts, however, we cannot guarantee that your order will ship the same day. If we fail to ship your order on the same day, we will refund the Rush Processing fee.

hahahahaha 1900xtx AND overnight shipping, no wonder we are a consumer based economy...

I just ordered a whole new system that costs less than your video card.

Oh, and I only use newegg, not because anyone else sucks, I just know that newegg delivers on time, and if they don't, I know who to contact.

But as far as situations like these, it has little to do with the company itself and all about the person/group shipping the one item for you, maybe they were having a bad day/week?

Plus it's a damn 1900xtx, usually with such a new item there is high demand and little supply, so give em a break.

Ironically, my experiences with ZZF are BETTER than my experiences with the Egg.

ZZF is ok with normal orders but when it comes to returns they absolutely suck. That's why I will never use them again even if it will save me a few bucks. I'd rather shop somewhere that has good customer service.

I bought 2 mobos, 3 HDs, 2 Video Cards, and 3GB of RAM from them. All in a span of 2 years. Prices on those items were lower at ZZF than at NewEgg. Shipping was fast and products were in perfect condition. Personally, I like ZZF better than NE.
And, yes, I have purchased stuff from NewEgg.

All the major retailers have their plusses and minuses. On the whole, the major group of etailers, (Newegg, ZZF, Monarch, Mwave, Outpost, etc.) do a fine job for the amount of orders they receive.

And I feel your pain:)

I don't mind paying a few dollar premium to get my stuff from Newegg. Their shipping is insanely fast and returning and item to them is cake.

Why bother to offer overnight shipping if you have a phalanx of "oh, by the way's" Rest assured, if you order overnight shipping and it is thursday, you'll pay for getting it on possibly tuesday. If you can't possibly ship an item overnight for what ever your reasons, don't take the customer's money!

I ordered an item on a wednesday thinking i would at lest get it by Friday. It never shipped til Friday, was shipped overnight when they no full well ther is no delivery on saturday or Sunday. it took a lot of e-mails to convince them to refund the $26 I paid for overnight. Bottom line - - - if you can't deliver - - -don't take the buyer's funds.

THis was with ZZF. I've orderd from NE and I'm on the east coast. Order on wednesday, pay the few bucks for rush processing, and have it shipped from the east coast warehouse in jersey and get to me in Virginia on friday. And while we are kicking ZZF, I jumped at a great price on an Antec 160 case from them and when I received the case it became immediately obvious the case was not new packaged. If they were offering great prices on returns or open box items they should say so and not give the impression you are getting a pristine brand new item when you are not. It wasn't worth the hassle to return it to ZZF. Antec replaced the broken case fan that was rattling around in the case under their warranty.

But Free Shipping does not suck!

Have you tried holding your breath? Maybe dropping down on the floor & spinning in circles while screaming would help.

I'm guessing it may have something to do with the items orderd... in the warehouse or drop shipped from another location. ZZF has usually been superb in shipping but I have also had a few recent orders that were stuck for at least 48 hours before they shipped.

NE's move to UPS was rough at first but my last few orders were actually faster than back when they used Fed-X.

How many times do I seen people proclaim "Free Shipping" in praise of ZZF? Seriously, it's not "free shipping", it's "shipping factored into the base price". ZZF's giving you nothing for free, it's just marketting lingo to fool people into thinking they're better (and, actually, it's working quite well for them).

Well when the base price is cheaper than the egg's base price before shipping + tax, I don't feel so badly "ripped off".

ZZF I've found to be a no-nonsense online retailer. Imo after 3 orders their packaging/shipping may be a little slower than Newegg but my stuff has to come in from the west coast. I live 2 towns away from the Newegg distro center so they better get the items I ordered faster than ZZF after paying more for shipping and tax. Haha no hard feelings for either, I just want the best price for the right item, as long as it doesn't take 2 weeks for 2-day shipping.
